If you were alone on the planet, what would you do?

The last human being on Earth sat reading a book. The phone rang.

I would go to the local airport and find myself a nice Cessna 182 (or 185 if I felt like a taildragger) and bring along some m80 firecrackers with long fuses.

I would set up some LED camping lanterns along the runway to serve as landing lights - then take off an hour or so after sunset.... I would fly a box pattern around the airport - ten miles or so out - dropping m80s every minute or so...

The bang would get their attention - and then they would hear the aircraft engine. If they wanted contact - I expect they would make themselves known with some lights....

Easy peasy - and fun as well...

Well, I can't fly; although if I thought I was the last person I could probably figure it out with no regulations or other planes taking off. Besides, you would be presenting a huge target and would most likely be shot at. I wouldn't mind losing a drone and I would paint a smiley on them so people knew I wasn't luring them into a cannibalistic trap, probably.
It's pretty tough to hit a plane... Pretty much impossible if they are up 5000 ft or so - at least with small arm fire.

A drone isn't bad - but nothing beats a good set of real eyes in the sky...

Someone already put it, but I probably wouldn't believe I was alone.

If if was for some weird reason made 100 percent certain I was alone I'd probably just go around taking drugs until I died. I would probably try and demolish large buildings for entertainment using weapons.

If I survived that I'd probably try and learn to fly or sail because if i didnt I'd be trapped in England with its crap weather.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

I wrote short story once about a family that volunteered to test a habitat built into the side of a mountain. Completely self-contained to simulate a spaceship traveling to the stars. A few years into the test they get word that every other human on Earth had disappeared.

I suspect that I'd wake up and go through my routine day after day until I finally break a bone or get sick.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'd be dead a few days after my stock of medications was exhausted.

Go to the library and read loads of books.

When I get bored with that I'd change my name to Isherwood Williams and go find a hammer.

You’ll need a dog as well. ‘Princess’ would be a good name.

True. I'd steer clear of that Charlie fellow though.
