I don't know what percentage of the overall black population make money through criminal means, but it damn sure ain't 50%. Maybe criminality correlates with unemployability? Whodathunk....

As mentioned before, 50% of the black trans in this survey were making money though criminal activity, which i'm sure is not being counted as legitimate "income".
Looking at the overall numbers, it appears that the majority of trans make $40k or above, which leads me to believe that this is a racial issue, and not a trans issue.
I'm not sure, but I didn't thing that HIV discriminated, can't cis people contract HIV also? If so, maybe the issue centers on lifestyle...

So Y'all are editing my posts now?
Yeah, I'm pretty much done with this conversation.

Yeah, that’s my bad. I don’t know how the hell I even did that, lol. Probably couldn’t do it again if I tried. Sorry, bud. I’ll try to figure out how to fix it.

I was wrong. Yup, he does. But what do you expect from a guy who doesn't understand the difference between being Trans and having Gender Dysphoria (as those two things are not the same). But remember it's all an evil plot by the white supremacist puppet masters.

According to the survey 50% of trans made money through criminal activity.
I don't know what percentage of the overall black population make money through criminal means, but it damn sure ain't 50%. Maybe criminality correlates with unemployability? Whodathunk.... Yes, people make money through criminal activity when legitimate employment is closed to them (It's pointed out that "(47%) said they had experienced an adverse job outcome, such as being fired, not hired or denied a promotion" because of their gender identity.) And if it's higher (which it almost certainly is), maybe that would suggest other factors. And speaking of which...

So, how much of it is because of mental illness? I only ask because study after study has shown that, given gender-affirming care, mental illness tends to go down dramatically in trans folk. Maybe they're mentally ill because their gender isn't being validated? Have you considered that?

Given that $40k is still significantly lower than the $60,624 that was the median household income for Americans that year, and, indeed, is slightly lower than the median household income for black Americans that year ($41,239), this isn't much of a rebuttal.

Just to clarify, I screwed something up so that one of my posts looks like it was @ Huggy Bear’s post, and what I said looks like it was Huggy who said it, and what Huggy said looks like I said it. Obviously, this doesn’t benefit either of us, and I just fucked up when I was quoting. Ima try to fix it when I can, but I’m super drunk right now so probably not tonight. 😝
Carry on.

I hope you realize that household income is combined that includes the spouse or partners income. A single income isn't 'household' income, unless you were a single parent I suppose.
Unless every single person on the survey had a partner, I don't belive the surveys description of household income is accurate.

Why do I get the feeling that you didn't find any reason to object to the way these studies defined household when you were first attempting to dissect it? Because, according to INvestopedia: "Household income, as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, includes the gross cash income of all people ages 15 years or older occupying the same housing unit, regardless of how they are related, if at all. A single person occupying a dwelling alone also is considered a household." So, yes, Jez, the definition of household income does, in fact, include single incomes.

He’s too busy trying to argue that trans people aren’t discriminated against for being trans, which is not only the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever heard, it’s after he posted a nine minute video talking about how black LGBTQ folks suffer worse discrimination than any other group because they’re both black and LGBTQ. He’s literally arguing with himself at this point.
