Ayo Tometi is actually straight, their #1 focus has always been the rights of black people, certain attributes of an organisation’s founders don’t necessarily mean it’s all about said attribute, it’s too decentralized for the leaders to dictate how the movement goes, what the fuck are you even talking about?

So, two of the three identify as queer? Well, guess what? That means that (assuming the third isn’t in the closet) they’re not all gay.
And black men are totally absent from the conversation? Even though the movement first picked up steam after the killing of Trayvon Martin? Or was he secretly female and nobody noticed?
