I will say this...

I've said right from the beginning that my depression and my atheism are two totally unrelated things. I've been very clear about that. I don't know about anyone else but I don't appreciate my personal tragedy being weaponised against me.

I'll be honest with you, Huggy. I really wish I lived in the world as you imagine it. I honestly wish it was that simple, to just write off the cause of my depression as not believing in a god. Things would be so much easier. "Hey, are you depressed? Suicidal? You need new, improved Pray-Away, with the super-active ingredient Goddo! If symptoms persist, just pray harder, you heathen!"

I would never tell my parents I'm gay, because maybe they would think, that since I don't take Catholicism all that seriously anymore, I'm going full heathen mode, but really, they just don't need to know. They wouldn't disown me, as my mom already told me she wouldn't turn her back on me even if I was gay, but I wouldn't want that revelation to lead to the divulging of even more sensitive information, such as how many men I've slept with, my usage of protection, my crossdressing habits, etc., my parents would not be pleased with any of that information.

Yeah, he made a pretty terrible threat on another social media platform to an AF member. She was not the target of the threat, but it was deemed serious enough to report. Stim had a lot of problems.

The point is I'm going to be the bad guy, no matter the situation, stop kidding yourself.

I point out how certain atheists on this forum are "unhinged", I'm the bad guy.

I point out suspicious it is that a female loses custody of a child to a man who isn't a blood relative, and her own family paid the legal fees of the man, which kinda implys shes an unfit mother, I'm the bad guy for pointing it out.

I try to explain how Cosby was railroaded and how his conviction will be overturned (all based in fact), I'm somehow defending and celebrating rape.

I post evidence of organizations founded in white supremacist ideology funding certain LBGT organizations (again, factual), but I'm the homophobic bigot...
