Hagia Sophia: first Friday prayer since decades and Erdogan leads the prayer
The first Friday Islamic prayer was held in "Hagia Sophia" mosque after about 80 years of turning it into a museum.

The Turkish president Erdogan led the prayer:

As a Muslim, I couldn't be happier to witness this glorious day. Thanks Allah for this.
I hope all our mosques return to us like Hagia Sophia.

Erdogan deserves my thanks, so as Turkey and its wonderful present.

Well, your lot stole it from the Christians in the first place. You seem happy that you were able to steal it a second time.

Is theft one of the core beliefs of the Islamic faith?

That's what you get when you send barbaric crusaders from Europe to do your dirty work. Hagia Sophia -along with whole Constantinople- got conquered in return. Then mad Europeans went to America and massacred its whole population when the Muslims proved to be a tough challenge to beat, so they beat nude people instead.
Now the mosque returned to us. Why so angry?

I’m not angry, and I’m sorry if I gave that impression.

But the brute fact is that Hagia Sophia was a church longer than it was a mosque. You stole it once, you’ve stolen it again.

So? Barbarity on the part of other people doesn’t excuse barbarity on the part of yours.
