If god can't lie, does that mean he can't do everything?

See Romans 10:8-11

Mercyvessel, I am of the opinion that "salvation" is wholly mythical.  The way I see the world, there is nothing waiting for believers after they die.  Nothing at all.
Accordingly, I am also of the opinion that Romans 10:8-11 is a bogus promise that simply cannot and will not be fulfilled.

There is an afterlife. It won't necessarily be an eternal Heaven or eternal Hell, but something will be waiting for you, whether you are a religious person or not.

Cool story, bro. Got any evidence?

The question is still valid, however.

Why couldn't God lie if He wanted to?

Well, a passage from Proverbs comes to mind, where the Bible is listing things that God hates (how an all-good God could be capable of hatred is another topic). One of these is liars.

So if God hates liars, then if God were to lie, he would hate himself. If someone hates God, the Bible is pretty clear that they’ll be eternally damned.

I'm not saying God would lie, but the claim was that He couldn't.  I'm saying He could if He wanted.

That's because humans lie and humans created god. Humans can attribute anything to god(s) that they want.

According to the Bible, God has lied, but let’s go nuts and assume you have a point: Why would God want to lie?

God(s) exist only as a concept imagined by the human mind, the same as Superman.
