He's attacked entire religions, entire races, implied violence to political rivals, publically sucked up to dictators while standing next to them attacked war heros. ALL BAD in no particular order. 

But the one thing a free west has, is a press to counter that bullshit. If you don't have a free press, you don't have a free society.

The first thing to me, any aspiring despot/dictator does to gain power, is to attack and vilify dissent and criticism. The press in a free society is vital to a free society.
