Meh, in any case - like a professional army does..they're investigating what doesn't meet their standards for conduct. That's what a legitimate authority does even when the actions of their members don't actually match the categorization as terrorism or barbarism. It's a higher standard than can be expected from actual terrorists, actual barbarians. You know the type.

Didn't really hit my surprise bells and I doubt it hits theirs either. We're dealing with people who learn to dehumanize as a part of their jobs, in a fundamentally dehumanizing situation. It's not surprising that they fail to see the humanity of a piece of prosthesis - they fail to see the humanity in humans too. Known known, that's the reason for the rules against it.

Sideline - do you think that australians doing that might help the people of afghanistan realize that their lives are worthless? Asking for a friend.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

? the western invasions demolished all regions it touched beyond repair.
These soldiers are mercenaries, and only fight in the army because they want the cash. They are criminals, thieves and it is expected from them.

Just like the American soldiers in Iraq.

Hi WinterHold.

Nice to see you have no idea as to what 'Modern Soldiering' actually is or does. Great

Keep on keeping on with that chest-beating ignorance and victim-hood. You keep on doing you, Mate. Great

Cheers.

Not at work.

I'll add the word mercenary to the list of terms you don't understand, alongside terrorism and barbarism, I guess?

Quote:Just like the American soldiers in Iraq.

There are far better examples than this australian one, of being criminals and thieves and terrorists and barbarians, if we're using us forces in iraq as an example - and that's kind of the point, isn't it?

Your histrionics don't seem particularly cogent or genuine.

You have no idea what a mercenary is, do you?

As for your opinions of the west. That's bullshit the west has contributed more to world development then your sandbox ever has.
Japan is a first-world country because of the Marshal plan same for Germany. After we freed them from fascism.
South Korea would be just like North Korea if we had not intervened
Most of the wars in the Middle East were caused by Muslim dictatorships, not the west, and have done more to develop those countries than their own governments

Ah. See, I'm betting WinterHold's comeback is "They weren't 'True' Muslims." along with "Puppet, Imperial, Western playthings. They were only in power so the West could do all the evil, Western things." or some such.
