I know that there are no gods.

I like you rev, you're always right!
No one knows that there is no God... but It's safe to assume so. Get over it... there I just ended this discussion.

Except that I know there are no gods. Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

And what if the world was designed by goblins? Not omnipotent, not all present and all powerful..just witty and powerful enough to create a cosmos using team work...and then most of them died from exhaustion after the big bang. Only a few Goblins are left, and they like to fuck with us. What about them? <--- fucking GOBLINS man!!!! RE: I know that there are no gods.

Get over it... there I just ended this discussion. I've heard a better theory: what if we are actually connected to a computer and this is a virtual world where what we feel and what we believe and what happens is actually all programmed? That is, a kind of Matrix movie, only without 'supernatural' events. And a theory invented by me: I come and say: "There are 12 gods that created the universe with the earth as it is and with all its beings, along with us. They have afterwards gone to another world, perhaps through a portal. Now one of them returned and told me the truth and told me to tell everyone that there are actually 12 gods and many other things about how things really are. If you don't believe all that I tell you without question, then you will be punished by the gods after death!" So, my question is, because I'm sure you don't believe it: why don't you believe it? "you're aware of things" - what things exactly?? First off, one cannot be aware of all things; Second off, his awareness is subjective, and thus, he may be aware that X is true when X is actually false. 2. If God is omnipresent or not, it hasn't anything to do with you're awareness. That's because you can't see that God is omnipresent, no matter how aware you try to be. 3. Again, "you are aware of God": one man may be 'aware' that God exists and other man may be 'aware' that God doesn't exist! That's because awareness is subjective. RE: I know that there are no gods.

Omnipresent God is present in all things. So, if He exists and you're aware of absolutely anything at all, you're then also aware of Him because He is present in everything that you are aware of.

Or, how can you be aware that God is present in everything that you are aware of? Or, does this "aware of absolutely anything" means that you are already aware that God exists? But if so, you can't use your awareness that God exists to prove that God exists! |
