What's everyone doing for New Year's Eve?

RE: What's everyone doing for New Year's Eve?
Cursing at the fireworks that will start going off at around 8pm. And at the dogs who insist on barking at the back door every time one goes off.

I've never celebrated New Year's Eve in my entire life. It's just another night to me. I go to bed at the usual time and put up a new calendar in the morning.  Coffee

Traditions include blindfolded badminton tournaments, a traditional meal of anchovy and cashew sandwiches (pan fried), and parlour games including ‘Name That Organ’ and ‘Whack-a-Thompson’s Gazelle’.

Simple times, but good fun.

"blindfolded badminton"?  Fuck me... That is talent.

Fuck you.

Not really. It's single elimination and no one ever makes it to the finals.

On Amateur Drinkers' Night I take shelter in the tornado bunker. Traditional since 1963, when a Chevy entered our party through the front door.

There will probably no fireworks in the time of Corona.

I can assure you there will be fireworks here.  Shot off illegally of course, but they will be going off all weekend.  And the cops will run from one report to the next and the shooting will just cycle around.  I expect them to start Thursday night and run through Saturday night at the very least.

Sorry, my brain read "where".

Nope not alone, there are the dogs plus the dust and eyelash mites. There may be other tenants that I'm unaware of.

I will be at church, as i have done for 13 years now. I like to include God into every choice i make, guidance provokes spiritual growth. I had a great year this year in general, but the year has ended badly for me, i am trying to make lemonade out of lemons at the moment;.
