His cult followers love that he creates his own reality through sheer audacity. They want him to lie, hard and often. CBS reporter who was in the chambers just reported that one of the congressmen who were against ratifying the vote shouted out (to no one in particular) to have Trump put a stop to this.

He's trying to, or at least whoever has his phone is trying to. He switched gears a few minutes back from actively promoting insurrection to swearing that's not who they are.
