Hunters Kill 20% of Wisconsin's Wolf Population in Just 3 Days of Hunting Season

Wisconsin hunters and trappers killed nearly double the number of wolves that the state allotted for a weeklong season, and they did it so quickly that officials ended the hunt after less than three days, according to figures released Thursday.

Nontribal hunters and trappers registered 216 wolves as of Thursday afternoon, blowing past the state’s kill target of 119. The state Department of Natural Resources estimated before the hunt that there were about 1,000 wolves in the state. Its population goal for the animal is 350.

“This is a deeply sad and shameful week for Wisconsin,” Megan Nicholson, director of the Wisconsin chapter of the Humane Society of the United States, said in a statement. “This week’s hunt proves that now, more than ever, gray wolves need federal protections restored to protect them from short-sighted and lethal state management.”

DNR officials said nearly 90% of hunters used dogs to chase down wolves, and fresh snow on Monday and Tuesday aided in tracking. The state sold 1,547 permits, which equates to 13 hunters or trappers per wolf in the target number, the highest ratio of any wolf season.

Sometimes it is racist, sometimes it isn’t. And somehow, I suspect it wasn’t as blatantly racist in 2015.

Also, perhaps I should have pointed out the role other people almost certainly had in helping push Tim into going full 14/88. Perhaps things would have gone differently if someone acted more “good cop” before he could have been swayed into white nationalism, although, for all we know, maybe someone tried that and he didn’t listen, or maybe he was too late.

He was too late, if you think that late is a thing people can be when to comes to minds. He'd been flirting with the ideoogy for far longer than he believed it would be acceptable to express as much. Just like a kid trying out cuss words.

Anywho, contemporary us libertarianism is an intentional front. Their big issue is gutting civil rights laws. It's a great example of a pre-white genocide attempts to court apathic but liberal voters with well branded but thoroughly racist policies. IMO, it's better at targeting a wider range of libs..but.... it nets politically inactive libs..which are useless - whereas committed (though always allegedly unconscious) white supremacists yank levers.
