Why did Jesus suffer for sinners and not victims

RE: Why did Jesus suffer for sinners and not victims
Quote:Right, abortion (like most things in life) is a complex system with many moving and interacting parts. To simplify things into such absolute, one-sided, all-or-nothing terms is almost certainly to get it wrong.

Every variable affected by an abortion ought to be accounted for and understood before ascribing ultimate value and importancee to a single aspect.
No, it's in fact very simple. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESSES! when it comes to people's reproductive functions.

“No matter what men think, abortion is a fact of life. Women have always had them; they always have and they always will. Are they going to have good ones or bad ones? Will the good ones be reserved for the rich, while the poor women go to quacks?”

At work.

I must admit I find it odd but constant with human nature that some people want to stick their nose into other people's vaginas.

So now this is a privacy issue? Great, more variables and perspectives worth discussing that are pertinent to abortion.

That was a weird interpretation of SUNGULA's post, John.

Them saying that an individual's autonomy is somehow equated to 'Privacy' seems...... strange to myself.

Nope. Somehow you think your god permits you to insert your hand into every womans panties. It is not a moral thing, it is a pervert thing.

Personally, I have no objection to inserting a hand into a womans panties if I have an invitation.

You are not interested in an invitation. you think you have a right. Go fuck right off. Women are people too. This is a surprise to you, I realise. But go fuck right off.

Sungula didn't say anything about autonomy. He said mind your own business, implying a privacy issue, which, coincidentally, is the foundation of the Roe v. Wade court decision.

"Minding one's own business" isn't a statement about autonomy it's about privacy.

Peebo-Thuhlu is correct in his interpretation of my words. I wasn't talking about privacy. I was talking about autonomy as I have repeatedly in this thread. So I clarify and repeat. When it comes to reproductive function mind your own business as the right to dictate said function isn't anyone else's but the pregnant persons. It's not complex it's very simple.

Given that there exist statutory laws which do dictate reproductive functions in other scenarios (e.g. by age—which you might find justified; or by consanguinity which you might not), merely asserting that abortion merits an obvious exemption oversimplifies something nuanced. But if you're right, make the argument.

To my knowledge, there exists no law that applies to what I'm talking about, And Abortion is an obvious exemption and it's not oversimplified because the issue is simple. I have already made the only argument I need to.
