Alan Dershowitz has offered up what seems a rather bizarre criticism of the AG's lawsuit. He appears to believe that, since it was large banks (as opposed to individuals) that were defrauded, the AG's case has no merit. In other words, government law enforcement officials should not take action if corporations are the victims of criminal actions. Boru

And in further happy news, a three judge appeals court (two of whom were appointed by Trump) has ruled that the Justice Department can resume looking at documents taken from Mar-a-Lago that are labelled 'Classified', overturning a prior ruling by Trump's pet judge.

Haven't seen it reported in the news, but I did see a video clip. Apparently, Mr. Jones had something close to a "you're goddamned right I ordered the code red" moment on the stand. It appeared to me that his own counsel was objecting just to get him to STFU.

Baton Rouge Students misled about college and job fair, really religious propaganda in disguise to talk about forgiving rapists, bullying transgender people, and promoting abstinence. That school district needs to be sued into the stone age. If that happened at my school, I would have went ballistic. Several people need to lose their jobs.

Not too sure about that, remember Jones hired a bunch of "lawyers" who didn't understand disclosure rules and exposed him to criminal jeopardy. I just watched a video of President Biden surprising Elton John with a medal for his work in fighting HIV after Elton played at the WH.
It's the best thing I've seen all week. Hopefully this can be topped next week with tbe arrest of TFG and his cronies. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" |
