Why do you think that?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Sure. But belief in God or gods gives you those transcendent values too. If your goal is to get from contingent values to transcendent ones, a god will get you there just as well as a godless religion. (One may argue.)

That's kind of the question. What is a religion of god supposed to have or give to a person that a religion without a god hasn't or couldn't? Aside from a god, ofc.
IDK that I'd even limit the source of these values in human apprehension to "only some things". We have premised these values on nearly everything, over space and time and culture.

The only other transcendant values I'm aware of is objective morals, which don't have a comprehensible explanation. RE: New theistic chew toys wanted!

A comprehensible explanation, t like the one that exists for the allfairies?
I'm not trying to argue that the god botherers don't get something out of their religion, or that what they get out of their religion of god is wrong. Or, that objective morality is right, for that matter. That there are or aren't transcendent values. I'm wondering what they get that other people haven't gotten from other sources? What did you have in mind when you mentioned it?

I reject the notion of so-called transcendent values
