teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Pentagon "UFO" office says they're seeing a bunch of balloons... no "UFOs".

Quote:The War Zone asked Sean Kirkpatrick, head of the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) during a rare press briefing Tuesday the following query:

"Does AARO have access to US government orbital imaging and early warning satellite products? And if so, how many have captured UAPs?"

Kirkpatrick responded, stating “I have access to all the overhead imagery I need.” Despite access to those systems, however, Kirkpatrick said he has not “seen any of them that have collected [imagery of] a UAP,” the acronym for the term Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, which has replaced UFO in the halls of the Pentagon.

AARO has actually collected a lot of data from those satellite systems, but ultimately nothing that would suggest an otherworldly origin.

“We have collected lots of UAP that turned out to be balloons and those look nice,” he said.

Damn, how the fuck do you let him get away with an answer like that. Literally meaningless.

To be clear, AARO does not have access to most classified data in the UAP space. This has been known since its inception.

...

Q: One quick follow up question. So, you said you think you've all talked to the same people [the UAP whistleblower] David Grusch did. Are you able to expand on that? What did they share with you all?

DR. KIRKPATRICK: No. For a variety of reasons, so we -- we, obviously, we are obligated to protect all these people's identities for – for all kinds of reasons. What they are reporting, we are documenting. They are reviewing and then revalidating that this is what they want to say. We then research all of that collectively. There is a – there is a, if you think of it as a story arc, there's a number of people that kind of fit into this story arc.

But then there's these little offshoots and variations on themes. We're investigating each and every one of them. We're cross-referencing those. There are some bits of information that are turning out to be things and events that really happened. A lot of it is still under review, and we're putting all that together into our historical report.

Let's take turns highlighting comments by Kirkpatrick that fits our respective biases. Your turn, FM!

Yep, including debris that had been exposed to ... (wait for it) ... cellophane tape with holiday imagery.
