Why a Harvard professor thinks he may have found fragments of an alien spacecraft at the bottom of the Pacific

Professor Avi Loeb has just completed a $1.5m expedition searching for signs of a mysterious meteor dubbed IM1 that crashed off the coast of Papua New Guinea in 2014 and is believed to have come from interstellar space.

The 61-year-old told The Independent he oversaw a team of deep-sea explorers who found 50 tiny spherules, or molten droplets, using a magnetic sled that was dropped from the expedition vessel the Silver Star 2km underneath the surface of the ocean.

He believes the tiny objects, about half a millimetre in size, are most likely made from a steel-titanium alloy that is much stronger than the iron found in regular meteors.

Further testing was now required, but Prof Loeb believes they either have interstellar origins, or have been made by an advanced extraterrestrial civilization.

Prof Loeb chaired Harvard’s astronomy department from 2011 to 2020 and now leads the university’s Galileo Project, which is establishing open-sourced observatories across the world to search for signs of UFOs and interstellar objects.

In his bestselling 2021 book Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth, Prof Loeb argued that ‘Oumuamua — a pancake-shaped space rock about the size of a football field which was visible to scientists for 11 days in 2017 — could only have been an interstellar technology built by aliens.

Ah, from what I remember the X-Files became frustrating to fans as they awaited some big reveal in the show, or some sort of next level, but Mulder just kept repeating "This is only the beginning" and no one could figure out the beginning of what exactly.

Joe Biden is dead

A video purporting to show a "body bag" being wheeled out of the front of the White House has sparked conspiracy theories that U.S. President Joe Biden is dead.

The footage at one point features a timestamp dating it to 12:41 p.m. ET on June 23, 2023. The clip first emerged online shortly after it was recorded, but has since been reposted to Twitter. After being published by a prominent conspiracy theory account on Sunday, as of 3 a.m. ET on Monday it had been viewed 8.5 million times.

Despite the timestamp within the video itself and Biden's numerous public appearances since, several users republished it. People have posted that the sitting president was the one in the so-called body bag, after having a "heart attack" or "aneurism." It follows the emergence of other conspiracy theories concerning Biden, including that he has secretly been replaced by a clone or an alleged twin brother.

The Leader of the JFK-QAnon Cult Is Dead. His Followers Think It’s All Part of the Plan.

Members of Michael Protzman’s conspiracy cult abandoned their families and spent their life savings to follow him to Trump rallies around the country.

The leader of a QAnon cult who convinced thousands of people that former president John F. Kennedy and his son JFK, Jr. are still alive has died, VICE News can exclusively report.

Protzman rose to notoriety in 2021, when the Telegram channel he ran garnered tens of thousands of followers. In that channel, Protzman mixed QAnon conspiracies with a bastardized version of Gematria, a Jewish numerology system, which he claimed to be able to use to predict the future.

Protzman gained national attention in November 2021 when he convinced hundreds of his followers to travel from all across the U.S. to Dallas, where he claimed that JFK and JFK Jr. would reappear at Dealey Plaza, on the spot where JFK was assassinated in 1963.

When that didn’t happen, Protzman’s conspiracies simply changed, and over the next 18 months he would alter and change his predictions to suit his needs and keep his followers on board. Ultimately he claimed that he was in direct contact with former President Donald Trump and that Trump was in fact JFK Jr. in disguise.
