Lol this was leaked by the IC to The Intercept. They leaked HIPAA info on the guy blowing the whistle on them, which should be raising some serious red flags. Also he was a combat vet with PTSD - that's where the suicide and alcoholism come in. Good luck running with that type of smear campaign in the US!

What? It is OBJECTIVELY protected health information (PHI) by law. It is absolutely not public information. It was leaked by the government. It shouldn't even be public whether he had his flu shot last year, let alone detailed mental health information like this.

You could make the argument that this sort of info should be out there but I am telling you from my own work experience in health policy that this private information protected by HIPAA and the only way to obtain information like this is if Grusch himself releases it or through a data breach.

Grusch already testified that the DoD/CIA have employed "disturbing" tactics to try and silence him. Ask yourself how this fits into that.

That is still not something that should be accessible through a FOIA request. Parts of or entire documents received thru FOIA can be redacted. Why wasn't this redacted?

I think it's also worth noting that, despite his hit job, Klipperstein straight up says that he thinks Grusch is telling the truth about the reverse engineering program and the government is actively trying to stop him from revealing it

Sure, but the goal posts are moving. It wasn't very long ago that the mere existence of the program was a joke and Grusch wasnt even in the picture. Then Grusch was a liar peddling bullshit. Now the program exists and we know the government is trying to stop him any means necessary and he us telling the truth about some of it... but the specifics are wrong!
