Chemtrail conspiracy takes flight over Alberta

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith was asked about chemtrails at a town hall in Edmonton last weekend and, after being heckled for saying no one is allowed to spray anything over the province, conceded she’d been told the source might be the US Department of Defense, according to Global News.

A reporter who contacted the Pentagon was told they didn’t know what Smith was talking about and referred him to the North American Aerospace Defence Command, which said it is not conducting any flights that involve spraying chemicals.

One health expert dismissed the idea as a baseless, “ridiculous” conspiracy theory, while federal Liberal MP Randy Boissonnault said Smith’s comment was “simply bonkers.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) weighed in on the deadly hurricane which wreaked havoc in her state of Georgia and across the southern United States on Thursday, suggesting that the hurricane had been controlled.

After the Hurricane Helene death toll rose to over 200, Greene wrote in a social media post, “Yes they can control the weather. It’s ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done.”

Greene also posted a map of the areas most affected by the hurricane overlaid with an electoral map by political party.

“This is a map of hurricane affected areas with an overlay of electoral map by political party shows how hurricane devastation could affect the election,” she warned.

Some of the rumors cite an alleged "town meeting" where officials said they would bulldoze Chimney Rock and the government would own the land. One post on X spreading the false claim garnered more than 6 million views.

Rutherford County Emergency Management said claims of a government seizure of Chimney Rock "are entirely false," adding that no "special meeting" was held to discuss seizing the town.

Some social media users spreading the claim referenced the North Carolina city of Kings Mountain, where a lithium mine is projected to reopen. Others reference specific companies like Piedmont Lithium, which aims to build a lithium mine in Gaston County, North Carolina.

Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on X , saying: "Yes they can control the weather. It's ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can't be done."

Alex Jones also amplified the claim, saying "Bottom line the federal government could have killed the storm in the Gulf of Mexico." Both Greene and Jones pointed to cloud seeding as evidence that the government controlled Hurricane Helene.

Hurricane modification through cloud seeding was explored in the years between 1962 and 1983, but the project ended after seeding was found to be ineffective compared to the natural forces of the hurricane, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Report names ‘Immaculate Constellation’ UAP program

A leaked whistleblower report says the Pentagon is operating a secret UFO retrieval program called “Immaculate Constellation,” according to independent journalist Michael Shellenberger.

The report revealed for the first time the name of an alleged UAP program, stating that the executive branch has been managing UAP issues without congressional knowledge or oversight, possibly for decades.

Department of Defense spokesperson Sue Gough denied records of the alleged program in a statement to NewsNation Tuesday evening.

“The Department of Defense has no record, present or historical, of any type of SAP called ‘IMMACULATE CONSTELLATION,'” she wrote.

The whistleblower report cites evidence, including allegations about UAP sightings collected by the Pentagon and intelligence documenting firsthand encounters with UAPs or UFOs that are kept in a database used by the intelligence community.

The report is also said to describe various UAPs in detail, including one where orbs surrounded an F-22 and forced it out of its patrol area and one where the crew of a Navy aircraft saw an orange-red sphere descend from a high altitude, after which they described a sense of unease and feeling as if they’d snapped out of a trance.
