I tried to watch the rom com "License to Wed" which is supposed to be about a Catholic (?) priest who is training a young couple that is about to be married. But you quickly realize that the movie can't be funny because it's morbid. Already at the beginning, you hear the priest narrating this couple's "love story" of how they meet, how they progress to base 2 & 3, and you, of course, think "WTF is this creep concerned about these people's intimate life?!" But because it's the priest, society finds it, what, cute? And they try to make him cute, I guess, because in the scene where we first see him, he is surrounded by adorable children--which is again also creepy considering.

Or maybe I am overreacting. So please tell me, does this scene, which replays every day in Churches near you, creeps you out? It's only 20 seconds long.

It's Robbin Williams and I know that it is only a movie, so I am fine with it. I would still not watch that movie. Romantic movies are boring.

If it is an actor I don't know, then we are only left with the scene. In which case I think, adults need to be told what to do, they sometimes need to be told what is moral.
So, it helps me understand why christians often ask me "How do you know what is moral without god?"

I can explain it to christians if they want:
1. Sex can lead to pregnancy. The parents of the girl don’t want to be stuck taking care of their daughter and the kid.
You are bothering people (the parents) and so, sex is not a moral act.
2. Jealousy. If another guy finds out that the girl has been used, it makes him jealous. He wants fresh meat.
You are bothering people (the next boyfriend) and so, sex is not a moral act.

3. The solution to Number 1 is to use protection. The solution to Number 2 is to normalize sex (sexual revolution). In modern times, Number 2 doesn’t seem to be a problem for most.
Also, since people tend to get married much later in life, Number 2 is not something that bothers most. People just don’t want to be cheated on.

Conclusion:
Morality is relative
This is something that is not explained in the Bible. How are you going to know that morality is relative with god?

It reminds me of guy who posted that a carbon atom is made of 6 protons, 6 neutrons, 6 electrons.
I had to respond to that one. That would be the C12 isotope. It is 98.9% of natural carbon. Also, carbon can bind to other atoms so, it doesn’t necessary always have 6 electrons.
1.1% of natural carbon is C13, which has 7 neutrons.
Other than that, other isotopes of carbon have been produced artificially.

I don’t know what point he was trying to make. I could add that there is Lithium 7. It contains 3 protons.
3 is a favorite magical that pops up often in the Bible.
7 also pops up quite often.

Six arrested with CitizenGo bus escorted out of Paris over Last Supper parody



It may be day 12 of the Olympics but the fallout from the opening ceremony continues to play out with Parisian police yesterday arresting six Christians who were on a bus driving around Paris to bring attention to the Last Supper parody and its anti-Christian message.

The organisation CitizenGo, which describes itself as “a community of active citizens who work together, using online petitions and action alerts as a resource, to defend and promote life, family, and liberty”, had organised a bus to drive around the French capital emblazoned with the message on its side: “STOP ATTACKS ON CHRISTIANS!”.

The move was in response to the down infamous sketch during the opening ceremony in which drag queens, a rotund lesbian and a transexual TV celebrity – and in the presence of a child – parodied the gathering of Christ and the 12 Apostles at the Last Supper.

The organisation posted on the X social media platform that “six of our team members were forced to spend the night in jail for simply denouncing the mockery of Christians”.

Anne Tropeano decided she could no longer wait.

Today she goes by "Father Anne," after her ordination through the Association of Catholic Women Priests. Her vocation has led her not only to pursue priestly ministry, but to advocate for Catholic women who hear the same call. "I have a vocation to priesthood, but since the church is blocking my way to live out priesthood, I have a call within a call — to bring the church into alignment with God's desire for women's full participation," she said.

Father Anne's call may sometimes have seemed idealistic and unachievable. But she sees a special moment for the church, an opening for real progress.
