Random Humorous Things - A Light-Hearted Thread

My bathroom scales have been placed in a corner.

They'll stay there until they apologise!

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

When I was at Uni, a handful of us took a holiday in Germany. We drove round in circles for an hour in Munich until we learned that ‘Einbahnstrasser’ means ‘one way street’ (Look - we’re on Einbahnstrasser again! Better go back.’)

Bloody German language.

Funny - the DARE program was a big thing when my kids were in school. One smokes pot on the daily. One has battled with various addictions over the years and the other one quit smoking pot for the sake of keeping his job.

Yeah, that worked out well all around.
