Over the last few years, my house has slowly gone from minimalist to cluttered- heading- towards- hoarding. Doesn't bother me as much as it used to.
You would love my garage.

This year I built shelving on one wall - 10 meters long 4 meters high - with a "library ladder" - on a track.- that is an elevator platform rather than a ladder.

I still haven' t totally filled it - but it's close....

I have a huge garage, It's about 5 metres wide at the front and eight at the back, and is very deep. I get a skip in every two or three years and pay a young bloke to clean out the shed..

My dad had a perfectly nice shed for his car. After a few years, it reached the point where it was getting hard to fit in the car. No Probs. He had a car port put in around the side of the house.  I helped clear that garage after dad went into care. The word 'purgatory' comes to mind, I don't know why Angel

My father once varnished his aluminium roof rack.

What did you use for the lift OLB? I'm looking for solutions to moving worm bins. Shits heavy. Estimate 190lbs. 140 for labor, 50 for product.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. Yeah.

The most advanced bit of kit I have is a trolley with I use mainly to move large pot plants. Also have this special metal lever (as seen on TV) used to lift the edge of large things I want to move such as a fridge. Then I slip one little padded thingie ( also as seen on TV) under each corner, then the object can be slid over carpet ,wood or tile.  ---I don't buy stuff on TV. Usually able to get the thing cheaper on Ebay.

This week I'm looking for a nice SLR digital camera, around 16mp. Should be able to get a decent used one for around $200.

Harbor Freight has a 800 lbs winch that runs on 110v AC.

The winch is mounted justabove the floor. The cable goes thru a pulley at the top - then back down to the carriage which is captured at 6 points on each upright rail.

That sounds like my 2011 house - I had something like a dozen boxes of unread books in the area that's now my study, and tchotchkes everywhere. I finally ran out of stuff to give away, although I'm not a "you must own less than 100 things and paint all the walls off-white" minimalist.
