An apostate, sure, but still a theist. Always will be. If a theocracy was established, and everyone was on the same page, that might motivate me to not be an apostate anymore.

That's just it. If the evangelicals and dominionists in the US got their way, it would leads to an Islamic State/Teliban-type regime but with their version of "christian values". Women would once again be basically property. Education/science a thing of the past. "Dissidents" (read: non-believers, wrong thinkers, and anyone who didn't agree with the regime) would be jailed or worse. And there would likely be a massive war in the ME as the regime gets Israel to fight wars. After all, the main reason evangelicals support Israel is that they see this as a way of forcing the "end times" on everyone. And, with 10,000+ denominations of christianity in the world, the likelihood of your version being in charge is remote. And that would make you one of the dissidents.
