I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
As to the original question, the accusation of indoctrination is a lot like the accusation that an atheist has faith. Unable to bring themselves up to your level, they want to bring you down to theirs.

"Imagination, life is your creation"
Why would you believe something that you have no evidence for?
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.
Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it! A lot of us probably think of faith some other way. A thing we have because we’ve seen so much evidence that no future discovery could overturn our present conclusions.
I have complete faith in the people closest to me, for example. I don’t buy this faith shit in questions about evidence, anyway. The faithful never tire of describing their evidence.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Well there are different types of evidence. The evidence of a believer is faith-based evidence, meaning it's not empirical evidence, but still a valid form of evidence.

Already told you I don’t buy it. The faithful never tire of describing their empirical evidence.

What if a person has an extra-sensory (beyond 5 senses) experience in a way that can be measured using scientific tools, would you consider that evidence for something supernatural?
