It's actually funny he brings up WW2 as the modern Russian army seems to be repeating many of the WW2 German Army's mistakes. Like sending flipping armored divisions into muddy terrain and deploying weapons ill-suited to the place they are fighting and skimping on logistics to attack quickly.

Boy, what a terrible waste of russian lives that was, right? There was never really a russia anyway, except as a german colony, as Catherine The Great demonstrates. Besides, the nazis needed a buffer between their national borders and china as a us ally who was hosting troops and long range weapon systems. They should have accepted the nazis perfectly reasonable territorial demands and backed off all the way into the sea, but..ofc, they couldn't, because the us forced them to fight and provided military assistance in order to prolong the conflict, instead.
For what? So they could end up a gas station with nukes under the western thumb. Meanwhile germany's over there doing just fine. Damn You Great Satan!

Yeah, I mean Hitler felt threatened by Communism which totally justified his invasion.

As we all know, the best way to prevent an imaginary future invasion is to launch a real one today.

It's surprising to me that even 2022, folks like @ Belacqua have yet to digest the lesson of 1938.

BASF is a typically energy heavy, oil and gas heavy, industry, not representative für Germany as a whole.
I actually grew up looking at the gas fueled torches in Ludwigshafen burning 24/7.
Don't need an bootlicking American jerk sitting on Mt. Fuji, half a fucking globe awy, to tell me about BAS fucking F.
