I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

To be fair, John Deeres do seem to be quite the threat to Russian armor.

Yeah they do..and at the end of the day, they're fucking expensive. Base msrp for the entry level class of that harvester is $592,876. The joke is that russia accidentally shoots at them...but you know what I think?

Not an accident. They know the deere cant shoot back, so it's a more cost effective use of airpower. Harvesters and shit are probably higher in priority than military vehicles on russian target lists. Like kindergartens and hospitals over barracks and cps.

Apparently, a member of the Russian crew in the video can be heard saying, 'Let's test it on that.' So...yeah, not an accident.

Also something that's very unlikely to be said in a combat situation.

The backstory here is that russian forces believe they're being attacked everywhere all at once by nato supersoldiers.  Russian telegram is lit up with fabulist conflicting reports - ranging from the total destruction of the ukrainian army to an ongoing drive that may not stop until it reaches fucking moscow, lol.  I wouldn't put it passed some cut-off field promoted officer blowing it in a panic outside of any orders and running for his life.

I reckon the order to blow came from on high, but the soldiers setting up the site weren't competent to set it up enough to do what they want. Russian reporting on the blow were originally crowing about a "successful action which stopped 'Ukrainian nazis' from crossing the river and attacking". When they realised they'd blown a big hole in the dam and released all the water, causing all their defensive positions to be washed away and all their mines to be removed, the Russian media then started to blame "Ukrainian shelling" for the dam going.

No way would Russian media be cook a hoop about a panicked blow by an over-promoted eejit who just shat his pants.

Well, there was that ukranian super seagull, from the secret american biolabs, that attacked the russian position at the control station. Maybe the standing order was to blow it if you see a ukie...and by god, they saw a terrifying ukie on the wing!

DefMon came to a similar conclusion as yours.

Which Russia did

Because it makes perfect sense for Russia to do it.

You don't get it. It's a battle of "demons VS demons". We have a saying in Arabic:
كالمستجير من الرمضاء بالنار
"Like the one who swaps fire with a scolding ground".

Standing with Russia "gog and magog" burns. But standing with the west also burns.
Both are fatal.
And I give you a historical example: which was better for Afghanistan? the Russian flames or the Western scolding grounds ?

Funny enough: imagine fire fighting with scolding ground..

Back to Ukraine:
Both powers are deploying false flags.

Just like the west blows dams, Putin will do the same and did the same already, beliave me I'm an Arab who experienced both the "Western fire" and the "Russian scolding ground".

But Kherson's dam? Western fingerprints are allover it.
Putin's response will include a bigger disaster. This thug has no limits (maybe a nuclear accident)? the nuclear station is already in his hands. He might blow Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, blame it on the west, then utilize nuclear missiles.

Just like the Western powers.

Then China will use its nukes too.
Then it's WW3.

That's why I say what I say: the stakes are high and both fighters are immature creatures with WMDs.
كالمستجير من الرمضاء بالنار

Just an opinion !

No, we don't we have two different sides with one being the vastly lesser of two evils.

Nope, the West will be fine it's Russia that's the shit shape. Considering the West poured billions of dollars into developing Afghanistan and you know trying to give them basic human rights and it gets them back to a state before the Taliban took over while Russia just burned the place to the ground and committed countless atrocities. Not saying the West's intervention in Afghanistan was flawless rarely are wars nice but comparing Russia's unrestrained brutality to the West's well-meaning but flawed occupation is silly the Russians have more in common with the Taliban.

All right ..... Dodgy

Quote:Back to Ukraine:

You have yet to demonstrate this

Quote:Putin is not a Muslim who fears Allah. Putin is a bastard Mafia thug. Just like the west blows dams, Putin will do the same, beliave me I'm an Arab who experienced both the "Western fire" and the "Russian scolding ground".
You have yet to prove they blow up the Dam and don't even think of speaking for all Arabs I have known many Arabs most of them reject your mindset.

Quote:But Kherson's dam? Western fingerprints are allover it.
No, it doesn't it wouldn't make a lick of sense for the West to blow up the damn it makes perfect sense for Russia too as one of Russia's war goals has been disrupting Ukrainian infrastructure, and blowing up a damn that part of the power grid makes perfect sense from that perspective.

كالمستجير من الرمضاء بالنار
Putin has limits and he won't do anything Nuclear because he is not completely off with the fairies and knows the unforeseen consequences messing with something so deadly might bring about. Nuclear energy is not something one takes lightly.
