Russia and Ukraine

It isn't a bad thing as Russia would never honor the agreement and any deal that isn't them leaving Ukraine is a shit deal anyway. Now that Ukraine's winning they might get that deal and finally get Russia off their back. It's awful so many needed to die to get there. But that's on Russia, not NATO.

You can write all of that blather but still cannot be bothered to provide evidence for your claim. You are indeed an Internet Bullshit Artist and will be treated as such henceforth.

What a stupid cunt.

According to the resident Bullshit Artist, NATO, through the good services of BoJo, ordered Ukraine to not negotiate.

Either or. I'm still interested in why Ukraine continuing to defend itself (and by extension, the rest of Europe) is a thing we don't want.

Or a thing that ukranians wouldn't want, for that matter. How hard was the pitch going to be, really? "We've got guns, yall want some guns?"

But it clearly doesn’t matter what Ukraine wants (at least according to IA). They are simply a lackey of Western Imperialism and don’t care about trivial shit like self-determination. It’s much easier to wait for Boris to tell them what to do.

Western imperialism is getting pretty damned tricky, aint it? Used to be they'd invade your country, now they help you maintain sovereignty against [ checks notes ]...invading countries declaring you russia forever. Or maybe western imperialism forgot how to do imperialism right? No worries, I hear there are people in ukraine offering a refresher course.

Puts me in mind of a scene from The Lion In Winter:

Henry II: The Vexin’s mine.

Phillip II: By what authority?

Henry II: It’s got my troops all over it, that makes it mine.

And that's essentially what IA and his fellow-travelers are arguing: might makes right.

Fortunately, Ukraine is grinding that might into the dirt. Unfortunately, it's taking the lives of people who don't deserve to die to do it.
