It's a demonstration of how shallow the propaganda can be and still hook a nut. Hersh ran sputniks story, which pointed to hersh's blog for backup. The purported anonymity of the source was blown up as quickly as the blog was posted, lol. Russian propagandists are thirsty, and fucking up. They couldn't help themselves. Or maybe they were just bad at clocks and calendars, like their stories about knock down drag out battles against brads and abrams?
Similarly, the russian administration is making impossible demands of the russian military, leading to the meat grinder we see now.
