India's interests are all about protecting their borders from China. Up until recently Modi believed the bullshit that Russia was peddling about its wunderwaffen. Given how piss poor Russian materiel has been in Ukraine and how missing Russia's latest weapons have been, even Modi must realise he's been had. And if Russia is a waste of space for India, who does that leave?
As far as I know, New Russian weapons like the Armada Tank, S-400’g, Su-57’s were not junk weapons at all. But they required western components and cannot be produced without them.
Even before the sanctions they were produced in small numbers because they are enormously expensive. And this is why I am very sceptic about the new “locally produced” fighter planes of the President For 45 More Days.
And I am not a great fan of Russia either. But I see some serious lack of balance in the world when Russia is making huge concessions to Iran and assumes a vassal ship role toward China. This changes the whole dynamics of central Asia and gives too much power to China which is an authoritarian state and totally unpredictable for instance on the issue of Taiwan. The Armata is overhyped garbage . A tank that's already woefully out of date compared to even stuff like the British challenger with one of it's upgrade packs. They built it around a shitty copy of a ww2 German designed engine that was already notorious for unreliability and have been struggling to fix the issue. And they only been able to pump out a small number which they won't risk in anything other then a parade around Moscow. And the Su-57’s doesn't exist yet outside the fever dreams of Putin. No the Russians are stuck with their questionable Soviet era arsenal.

Quite funny that Putin is threatening with consequences after Finaland joined NATO. Why?
Since it was him threatening Finland in the first place to make them join NATO. Why?
Well, he decided to fucking invade Ukarine and expected countries like Finland to ignore that and all the rest of hypernational saber rattling in Russia.

I'd love to see Russian troops go into Finland.
NATO involvement aside, Russia doesn't have a good teack record fighting the Finns...

Putin has become a carbon copy of Kim Jong-un. The only news about him now is about his nukes. He is not happy, so his nukes this and that.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

There are thousands of Russian troops massed along Finland's border with Russia. You just have to dig down six feet to find them.

That's when Finland founded the Fuck Around and Find Out club ... which Ukraine has joined.

The Armata and SU-57 are both pretty much junk. The S-400 is a capable SAM, but the Armata shares the same design flaw that has launched the turrets of a thousand Russian tanks: the ammunition for the autoloader is stored at the bottom of the turret bustle. On top of that, they've only managed to build about 20 copies in the last nine years. Nine years, 20 tanks. Not nearly enough to make any difference on the battlefield.
The SU-57 is hyped as Russia's "stealth" fighter, but it's only stealthy from the front. It's incredibly maneuverable, but when your opponents can see you and kill you 50 miles away that doesn't matter so much, 'cause you ain't outmaneuvering modern missiles. Its sensor suite leaves a bit to be desired too. And to top it all off, they're only expecting the delivery of 22 copies by the end of 2024.
I found a good article on that. They just have 10 Su-57 now and they cannot produce more because it requires western components. The F-22 / F-35, J-20 are said to be “better” but the plane has many ingenuous aspects too. In fact Tom cruise is seen challenging two of those plane in Top-Gun Maverick (while being on board of a F-18 fighter jet from the 80’s – very convincing - ).
Business Insider
I think these types of weapons are a sign of Russian creativity and remaining capacity to create advanced weapon systems. But like everything in Russia, this is completely mismanaged too.
Another issue is the price tag. The Su-57 costs about 50 million US $. It’s still cheaper than the F-35 (75 m $) and the (200 m $) and even the J-20 (210 m $). But I remember reading that this and all other Russian weapons where rather expensive for the results you get

So the Vatniks and Kremlin Gremlins are all hot and bothered by the idea the might get Bakhmut and that somehow ends the war. Not even close. Russia's grind has only begun.
