As I've opined before in thread, it's a damned shame when a person lets their own revulsion for group a..well founded or complete batshittery, determine whether they agree with group b's right to exist. Americabad therefore zelenskyy is a terrorist and russia should get ukraine isn't just a pants shitting non seq, it's an abrogation of the basic humanity of the person who offers it.

Why is it that Winter is always so eager to demonstrate his ignorance?
He knows nothing about anything, starting from the smallest, aka. his very self, to the largest aka the uinverse/multiverse.
He knows nothing about his own (homo)sexuality, (lucid) dreams, how to properly deal with theft (like in NOT hacking off hands), how to properly (=equal) treat women up to the (origin of) universe (allahdidit, and black holes are hell). The war in Ukraine is just a small data point in his resume of colossal ignorance.
He is mindfuckingly stupid and so self absorbed that he needs to demonstrate it all the time to the world. That he has no sense of embarrassement doesnt help either.

My revulsion for parties is always depending on their actions and deeds.
First, the western alliances pulverize civilians always in wars, Russia also does the same thing. So 1 main thing in this war: both parties are trash. We saw how they treat civilians in Syria and Iraq respectively.
Russia has monsters like Wagner, but America has ghouls like ISIS.
Second, the U.S always choose allies from the bottom of the barrel (like MBS, Sisi, Jordan's king...etc) so they be easy to control and direct like pawns. So Zelensky is probably another "tuna fish" being controlled by the U.S's promises and $$$$$. Just like MBS and Sisi.
Third, I said Zelensky "can be the Bin-Laden" of the future as the U.S is notorious for playing the same game over and over.
Forth, be a thinker; an analyst please and start to look at political matters "professionally" not "emotionally", so you don't fall for another propaganda like "the war on terror" crap and find yourself in future "Ukraine" fighting the "future terrorist group that formed after Zelensky turned against the U.S".

I suspect those are feints, probing attacks, or both, because Bakhmut is not the critical ground, no matter how much Putin claims it is.

^This. It's not uncommon - especially when you think you have military resources and to spare - to pick a soft, relatively unimportant target, hammer it mercilessly, then tout it as a victory. One of Putin's problems is that Ukrainians stubbornly refuse to take part in that scenario.
