Russia and Ukraine

Here is what dude from Polish Institute of International Affairs is saying:

The Georgian authorities will not decide to repeat the elections, nor will they agree to any external mediation. The Kremlin would not allow this to happen anyway. Georgia is a small country compared to Ukraine and is unable to stand up to Russia the way the Ukrainians do with the support of NATO member states and the European Union, says Wojciech Wojtasiewicz, an expert at PISM*. The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

The populists are trying to scare people saying that they don’t want to be like Ukraine.

The people seem to have had it with being a Russian satellite state and do not want to go back to the Soviet Era.

On the other hand. Iran’s and Russia’s influence in the whole region is decreasing. They have already used a lot of resource for the war in Ukraine. With Israel having annihilated Hezbollah they can’t even properly come to the rescue of their ally Bashar-al-Assad.

Grand Nudger:

I think that the contrary may also happen. Europe is not letting go of Ukraine and the Ukrainians themselves are not that weak:

They now have their own long range missiles that can hit targets deep into Russia.

But Crazy Hair is a bit like Putin. They might even get along just fine. I think we’ll have to wait and see Smile
