Russia and Ukraine

To me it seems that (today's) conservatives want anarchy because billionaires want anarchy. The government pretty much exists to protect people from being exploited by billionaires. People even created governments to protect themselves from the aristocracy who are constantly trying to get back to power.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Libertarianism = Anarchy.

There was an episode of the original Star Trek series called Errand of Mercy. It is the episode that introduced the Klingons. It also introduced a race called the Organians that were seemingly unconcerned about anything at all. They were pacifistic and apparently primitive and ignorant. As it turned out, they were so advanced and powerful that Spock estimated that the Organians were as advanced above Humans, Vulcans and Klingons as we were above single-cell life-forms.

Anarchy works if you're that advanced (essentially gods) but it's a fucking disaster if you aren't.

Rules suck. Bureaucracy sucks. Police Suck. But imperfect beings like ourselves absolutely need these things because without them, we are going to massively fuck up. The far right is deluded enough to think they would do good for everyone without rules in place.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Oh, they want no rules for themselves in order for them to make more money, but rules for everyone else, so that they get their money legally.

Don’t be so pessimistic. Nations are living organisms and they have their DNA. As they say: “You can fool some people sometimes. But you can’t fool all the people all the time”. So I don’t even care if Trump is reelected in 2028. Someday he will leave the Whitehouse and things will go back to normal. Smile

- I used to define myself as an Anarchist at some point. Anarcho-socialism is a political approach that focuses on the responsibility of individuals in the creation of an entirely libertarian / communist type of society with no private property and no state at all.

What Javier Millei is doing in Argentina (And Elon Musk is willing to do in the US) is different. Anarcho-Liberalism is basically what is happening in Russia. Meaning: An Oligarchy having and controlling everything + a police state to defend them from the masses.

Historically this has already been tried. You can think of Athens in antiquity or Rome or Cartage. Plato talks about “Aristocracy” in his book “The Republic”.

So we have already been there. This led us to Monarchy (a Feudalism) and this in turn led us to representative democracy and the state of law.

All of this is social media based orchestrated nonsense. Anarcho Socialism is a utopian ideology. It can happen at some point in the future. Anarcho-liberalism is nonsense. Adam Smith himself talks of the need of some common sense and supremacy of law in order for liberalism to work.

A good example to this is his cutting of USAİD:

- I mean people are eating this food. The life of real people is at stake. Only a truly irresponsible and self-centered person would do something like that. And I am telling you: Even a monarch cannot hope to maintain his throne with such a lack of empathy and commonsense.

There's three types of conservatives. You're describing one.
