If you consider what the phrase ‘near death experience’ actually means, most people have had them. For example, if you cross the street without looking and a taxi driver has to stand on his brakes to avoid running you over, leaving 50 feet of tire marks on the road and the smell of burnt rubber in the air before managing to stop just six inches from you, you’ve been near death.
In that case, the experience of shitting yourself should count as an NDE.

I'm always interested in talking to people that have had near death experiences, and especially if they were considered clinically dead.
In 1987, I was caught in an explosion. I was told later than I had 'clinically died' for several seconds during surgery - no heartbeat, no breathing (it was emergency surgery, so I can't make claims about brain function).
No tunnel with a light at the end, no white robed figures - nothing. I remember being in the street where the explosion took place, and then I woke up in hospital a week later. Nothing in between.
I think that fits in rather neatly with the vast majority of perithanatic experiences.

Interesting introduction thread.
Hello new entity.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Welcome. You sound like you have a rather uncommon viewpoint to contribute. I look forward to hearing your views.

Growing up I was convinced of NDEs; had a number of night terrors about dying and going to Hell.

I've investigated the Pam Reynold's case at length, and the details simply do not match up to the claims. Admittedly I have my biases, and that is only one case, but I would be surprised if that is uncommon.

Clinically dead merely means vitals cannot found, or it can mean a misdiagnosis.
Funny how humans dont come back after you decapitated their heads

You don’t decapitate heads. ‘Decapitate’ means to remove someone’s head. To decapitate a head would be to remove a head from a head.
Glad you’re back. I’ve missed this.
