To get to know the world in a limited lifetime should be a right, and not a privilege

Humanity is on track to double the concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere; how can you possibly suggest such as insane idea??

Like, SOOOOOOOO this.

I didn’t mean to give a free travel ticket to everyone. I meant to give people the conditions to travel: long vacation time (3 months a year) to travel comfortably, instead of the usual two weeks. And a salary good enough for traveling in those vacations.

salary is in principle proportional to the economic value the employee brings to the employer. If you think all employee deserves shorter working year and salary conducive to traveling the world, then all employees must bring such additional economic value to their enployors within a shortened work year as to be at least equivalent to the cost of world travel.

How else do you think this right can be financed?

I don't know how much it is the case in France, but I was taught that workers get one month vacation each year.

Really?   The economic cost of world travel is paid for by manna from heaven and not by productivity of those who are involved in the traveling?

Even Karl Marx admired certain aspects of capitalism, but, still, movement requires energy, and as the majority to most of the World's energy is still that of fossil fuels, I do not see how a World of people constantly traveling is going to mitigate the death spiral that we have committed ourselves to.
