Also, ham and bacon are heavy in sodium which also plays a role in the manifestation of cardiovascular disease over time.
Why would sodium in bacon increase one's risk of heart attack? The number one cause of heart attacks is low blood pressure, so shouldn't sodium decrease the risk of heart attacks?

Lol,wut?

You have to be trolling at this point.

Google the causes of heart attacks.

Don't confuse your ability to use Google with my years of research.

You sir, are an idiot. Please stop trying to do science. You’re a menace.

Do you do this ‘research’ using university facilities, or are you employed by industry? Or perhaps your lab is government funded?

In your blood serum studies, are you control groups properly randomized?

How do you go about establishing baseline values for lipids and sodium content?

What age ranges do you study, and how are the participants selected?

When accepting participants, do you account for extended family medical histories and - if so - how do you verify this data?

What timelines do your various studies use for determining outcomes?

What percent of your conclusions are extrapolations vs interpolations?

What is your MOE for study results and how do you arrive at it?

‘Research’ my bony arse.

And recommending people to eat less salt without evidence that it's effective or even safe is not being a menace? As far as I can tell, whether we are eating too much salt or too little salt is a rather controversial topic in nutritional science, with evidence mostly pointing to us eating too little salt.

Which nutrition scientists are advocating increasing dietary salt intake? What evidence ‘mostly’ points to us not eating enough salt?

Dietary salt increases blood pressure. And the fact that heart attacks are more commonly caused by low blood pressure than by high blood pressure suggests there would be fewer heart attacks if we ate more salt, doesn't it?
