I have no idea. How can I find that out? I think Poca your cholesterol is quite ok... the way you are eating you would rather starve to death than have high cholesterol .. but seriously we have good HDL and bad LDL cholesterol, your diet is similar to the Mediterranean diet and that is healthy for our cholesterol (unless you are genetically predisposed and that is why your cholesterol is high, but I doubt it, but also if you want do a blood test ) . ...besides you don't eat sugar, you do sports, you don't stress so you can put your olive oil to the salad...besides there are terrible myths about cholesterol, that its high level is not good for our health... But
it is so important for our health because it is used for the synthesis of many hormones (including cortisol, progesterone, estrogen and testosterone), bile acid. It is thanks to it that vitamin D3 is synthesised from the sun. There are also studies that say that high levels mean a lower chance of Parkinson's disease, on the other hand, patients (especially cancer patients), autistic children or suicidal people usually have little cholesterol in their blood... so simply everything in moderation... it's about time we learned to read our body what it needs and not to push into it only what we feel like... but from time to time small dietary sins are advisable, if only for mental health

Cholesterol in food is not really the issue; it’s saturated fat that raises LDL cholesterol in the blood. But as you rightfully point out, that’s just one bio-marker, and modifiable risk factors like weight management and lifestyle certainly play a role in risk reduction.

Yeah, Ima get that slice of chocolate cake, anyway. I've been a good boy.

No. This has never been demonstrated in a clinical trial. Coconut oil has been demonstrated to increase LDL-cholesterol, which is a bio marker for heart disease risk. There’s a difference. Also, some meta-analyses have found evidence that virgin olive oil may actually improve lipid profiles, but the research is far from settled, which is my point. You’re oversimplifying big time. And like any other food/nutrient/drug, dosage and frequency matter. There’s a difference between cooking with a table spoon of olive oil once a month and dousing your salad with it seven days a week. Anyone who says “Food X is bad for you” needs to stay in their lane, as @arewethereyet mentioned.
But making a more rigorous study testing whether coconuts cause heart disease in humans is unethical, isn't it? And, in the absence of better information, it is reasonable to assume coconuts do indeed cause heart disease, right?

‘No’ everything. Rigorously testing to determine the effects of coconut consumption on heart health is not unethical.
It is non-nonsensical to assume to consuming coconuts is bad for heart health in the absence of better information.
You don’t really grasp how scientific research operates, do you?
