@emp: I thought you were new to it.
Your links don't work. (March 31, 2011 at 11:40 am)Emporion Wrote: What is in your brain that determines who you are? Pretty much everything in the brain. Interestingly, Descartes would've said that it's specifically the pineal gland. But that sounds wrong to me also (like your other answers). I wasn't sure how to give you all clues which would not literally spill out the answers. What information was missing from the riddle that would make it clearer? What good is a riddle if I reveal the answer? RE: God's true home is NOT Heaven

Ok, try this one. Here is an experiment about cognitive and neural foundations of religious belief. Here is an easeir to digest version of the same study. Here is a lecture from Andy Thomson of why we believe in Gods. My point is this: Neuroscience is the science of neurons and also "Dietology", the science of the God phenomenon taking place inside our brains. Every believer who tries to use science to prove God will unfortunately jump at this "new" information the wrong way because this research does not prove what they want it to prove. The answer to the riddle is not even correct and it's such a stupid one that I would hardly even call it a "riddle". At least riddles make more sense. Neuroscience is the science of neurons and also "logical elimination," the physics of hair molecules traveling through a sewer pipeline and then exploding into thin air. No its not Rayann.
Quote:Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system.[1] Traditionally, neuroscience has been seen as a branch of biology. However, it is currently an interdisciplinary science that collaborates with other fields such as chemistry, computer science, engineering, mathematics, medicine, philosophy, physics, and psychology. The above information, in relation to 'god experiences', has alot to do with psychology also. It all makes perfect sense. RE: God's true home is NOT Heaven

The post you used to deduce you response from doesn't even make sense.
Gods true home is in my pants...which could be a paradise or a place of self loathing depending on the weather, what I had to eat, and what mood I was in at the moment.
