Look, accusing the preacher with "insanity" is as ancient as hell, it's even a given fact in the Quran:
Quote:Sura 51, The Quran:
https://quran.com/51?startingVerse=52
(52) Thus in no way did (any) Messenger come up to the ones even before them except that they said, "A sorcerer or a madman."
(53) Have they enjoined (this saying) one to another? No indeed, (but) they are an inordinate people.
(54) Then turn back from them; so in no way are you blameworthy.
(55) And remind; then surely reminding profits the believers.

Quote:Although the novel was written before the RMS Titanic was even conceptualized, there are some uncanny similarities between the fictional and real-life versions. Like the Titanic, the fictional ship sank in April in the North Atlantic, and there were not enough lifeboats for all the passengers. There are also similarities in size (800 ft [244 m] long for the Titan versus 882 ft 9 in [269 m] long for the Titanic), speed, and life-saving equipment. After the Titanic's sinking, some people credited Robertson with precognition and clairvoyance, which he denied. Scholars attribute the similarities to Robertson's extensive knowledge of shipbuilding and maritime trends.

So, according to you, even if the fact was stated 1400 years ago in the Quran that the universe is a product of an "explosion caused by God"; the big bang theory is the one and only origin ? and the 1400 years old verse in the Quran was "a mere similarity"?
Weird..In contrast, I think that science just proved that the Quran is real. Achieving this verse:
Quote:Sura 41, The Quran:
https://quran.com/41?startingVerse=53
(54) We will soon show them Our signs in the horizons and in themselves until it is evident to them that it is the Truth. And does it not suffice as to your Lord that He is The Ever-Present Witness over everything?

I agree that accusing preachers of insanity (or at the very least, being mentally aberrant) is a very, very old tradition.
Why do you think that is?

When I read that a certain book said the following:
Quote:Sura 21, The Quran:
https://quran.com/21?startingVerse=30
(30) Are the disbelievers not aware that the heavens and the earth used to be joined together and that We ripped them apart, that We made every living thing from water? Will they not believe?

Then I would continue reading in awe, because the verse proved what every scientist said about the origins of the universe.
No need to cojtinuously prove that islam isn't worth following by posting nonsense from the qu'ran. You've done enough to discredit the false religion already.
Oh and by the way the "heavens" and the Earth are not separate, they are both components of one single unified system called the universe. And life isn't made from water, but carbon. Some life needs water, but all lie on Earth (at least) requires carbon. Without carbon or possibly silicon (it can make the same type of polymer chain bonds as carbon does, but nowhere near as easily) life is simply impossible.

But is is the most widely accepted answer for the origin of the universe. It is the "Big Bang theory" written in ancient Arabic language in the verse above:
https://education.nationalgeographic.org...iverse-101
Quote: The most widely accepted explanation is the big bang theory. Learn about the explosion that started it all and how the universe grew from the size of an atom to encompass everything in existence today
What you qouted in no way describes the big bang. It explicitly says that the Earth and the space it exists in are two completely separate things, fully divided from each other.
I wonder what the religious authorities in your country would say to you and you making such a nonsense of islam? They're as afraid as you are of the truth getting out.

But that’s NOT what the verse you cited says - it says nothing about an explosion, or even an expansion (the more correct term). It says that God separated the heavens from the Earth. This implies that the Earth was a separate and discrete thing, that it was somehow (as GUBU says) not an intrinsic part of the universe.
The Quran gets it wrong again.

I remind you with the story of Galileo, who was accused of "heresy" for believing that earth was not actually the immovable centre of the universe:
https://www.history.com/this-day-in-hist...-of-heresy
Quote:This was the second time that Galileo was in the hot seat for refusing to accept Church orthodoxy that the Earth was the immovable center of the universe: In 1616, he had been forbidden from holding or defending his beliefs. In the 1633 interrogation, Galileo denied that he “held” belief in the Copernican view but continued to write about the issue and evidence as a means of “discussion” rather than belief. The Church had decided the idea that the sun moved around the Earth was an absolute fact of scripture that could not be disputed, despite the fact that scientists had known for centuries that the Earth was not the center of the universe.
Whenever somebody comes to the mainstream with a belief outside the box, the masses jump to stone him, burn him at the stake or simply calling him insane; mad; pariah.

I just don't get it -- the Earth is 4.5 Ga old and the Universe is 13.7 Ga. The Earth & Heavens were never "conjoined".
