I'm doing pretty good, actually. I bought my car a year ago which means it was before inflation really took off. I don't have to pay an electric bill on my apartment (not directly anyway). Gas prices have gone back down which is a big relief. I even got my PS5 a while ago, before Sony announced they were increasing the prices on it. My biggest concerns are that I'm fixin to renew my lease on my apartment and rent will be going up a bit in October. Food has gotten more expensive, too.
The fortunate part for me is that my employer actually treats their employees well. They've given us two cost of living raises to compensate for inflation and we got an extra $200 a month while gas prices were especially high.

Inflation is making it more expensive for me as a construction manager to renovate and maintain housing for the mentally ill.
<insert profound quote here>
inflation will likely push out when I retire. Costs are up and the stock market is down.
