Over 2300 dead in Turkey
#21
RE: Over 2300 dead in Turkey
Another shameful event. The AKP has privatized the 200 year old Turkish Red Crescent and has appointed regime-friendly Theologians + religious high school graduates to the top of this institutions. I’ve already mentioned that people still did not have tents on the 20th day of the earthquake. We have just discovered that the Turkish Red Crescent did not lack of tents. The issue is that it is selling them to public-supported NGO’s like the one I – We have made donations to, for the price of 800 $ each. That’s our Neo-Ottoman dream Smile that was promised to us some 20 years ago by the ruling AK Party. Nicaraguans drug cartels could be biting their fingers seeing what these religion-sellers just did (without even denying the facts). There was a huge earthquake, people are still queuing for tents and this is their “pious / religious” business model. There are similar commercial schemes for container houses.

+ The AFAD / Red Cresent etc. are still messaging us for donations? (I mean what donation?) + These religious sects are also collecting money from their followers “to help people hit by the earthquake”.

Think of all the poor grifters that lost their hustle when the marks died or lost everything they had. Can you truly be a man of faith if you deny them in this time of their greatest need?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This is from Charlie Hebdo (You know the satirical French Magazine that had published the Comics of the Prophet Mohamad). I was not going to share this but I thought “What the heck?”

It reads: “Earthquake in Turkey – No need to send battle tanks”

This is a reference to one of my favorite opposition politicians who has TV speeches from last week in which she says “You, (Refering to our “president”) you are the disaster of the century”.

/ My correction to that: This way of thinking populism + politicized religion of all sorts that’s the greatest disaster of our time.

The German word for this is “skrupellos”. Meaning “shameless”. Now I’m quite sure. These people can do about anything and not feel any type of shame. That’s the problem with them. Smile

Shame is a foreign experience to nutballs who turn their strong and genuine conviction that god is on their side into cold hard cash. Works the same way here. The religious have been getting fleeced for years to pay in to causes that were never even intended to pay out. Every single time we get hit with a natural distatser every prosperity gospel preacher and theocrat with a microphone or a camera starts some "fundraising drive" for the downtrodden christians of wherever. There are still grifts running from storms years ago. Here we have the red cross, but the red cross is as much of a shitshow as the red crescent and enjoys a similar mismatch between reality and perception - and they're "one of the good ones". It just gets worse from there. Not, I think, that I have to tell you that. You're likely familiar with the phenomena.

I am sure you must be right. But the man privatized the Red Crescent which is an institution that dates back to 1860. On the fourth day of the quake (8th of February) the institution formally became a “company” and started selling tents + food + blood (which were donated to the Turkish Red Crescent by us) in return for money.

This scandal came to surface yesterday when a civil society group declared having bought those tents from the Red-Crescent itself. In the third week of the disaster we have learned that the Red-Cross (even as a private company) is still a government institution. So it can donate those tents to the people who are still without shelter and it doesn’t.

But whatever. This scandal happened yesterday. On Friday The One whose Wife is Never Seen without her Headscarf On called !!!@*+?!! All those who were spreading the fake-news that people were still sitting in the streets without tents, food, toilets, medical help etc. etc. ( he really did).

Well let’s turn to Ruby the Wise Parrot who has some comments on that:

As far as I understand it, Ruby the Wise Parrot is mainly responding to The Man who Lives in the Palace and no one other than him. (That’s how I see it Smile )

RE: Over 2300 dead in Turkey
On the Historical importance of the Turkish Red Crescent:

This organization was founded in 1860, during Ottoman times to attend to the medical needs of the modernized Imperial Army. In 1921, when the Turkish independence war was still going on, the writer of our National Anthem Mr. M.A. Ersoy donated the 500 lira royalties for his poem to this very institution.

Below is a web-link on how the AK Party turned this NGO into a private company on the fourth day of the earthquake.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/turkeys-red-c...30485.html

My theory is this, (and that’s why I came to a forum which is full of religious topics in the first place). I think this is the same think that’s happening in Belarus and/or Ukraine. In those countries the Russians are trying to erase the national identity of these people and assimilate them into their own countries. This effort is now being called a “genocide”.

The political version of Islam (which does not even exist in strictly spiritual terms), is doing exactly the same thing in Afghanistan, Iran and now (unfortunately) in my country. Have you ever seen an Arab monarchy or even a petro-dictator who sells tents to its own people while facing a huge natural disaster? First I thought that they somehow did not have any tents to give to the people (because that’s how stupid they are). Now I / We have found out that we have more than enough highest quality tents but that the government is selling them to NGO’s.

To this I may add that the AK Party has cancelled all republican holidays and festivities, has demolished huge / very expensive facilities like the Atatürk Airport, has reduced the army to a mere shadow of what it was before, Has sold / privatized most of public facilities and enterprises even military equipment producing facilities + military hospitals + military academies, has sold lands / real estate’s / forests / rivers / natural parks to some Gulf-Countries investors to a level which ordinary citizens are no longer able to afford housing. (The list goes on).

+ This counter-republican offensive or counter-revolution involves the putting forward of many “Islamic” practices like the promotion of the headscarf even in public institution etc.
So that’s my theory. The twisted Wahabi interpretation of Islam does not include sovereign national / democratically elected nations. There is just the “mob” (or Teba) in Arabic. And they are being ruled by some powerful elite or aristocracy (In the Syrian or Saudi-Arabian model basically). So I call this an attempt of genocide. I think it’s our very identity they are after (and of course our freedom to determine our own destiny). We are to be turned into some brainless mob that only exists as a satellite state of Russia / Saudi Arabia or Iran. (I don’t know which one it is but I think it’s one of the above).

Same shit here buddy. Our country is being stripped and sold for parts, and john q isn't seeing a dime of that. The only way to keep him in line in his increasingly dire situation is a repressive religion that fits with the looters political ideology and makes every man a traitor in heart, if not yet in dead.

I think I agree with the second sentence. Especially with the part in which you say that this erroneous political behavior (of having a voracious attitude toward your very own country) can only be maintained with a (widespread) erroneous religious attitude (and ideology) that turns people into traitors in their hearts and perfect hypocrites starting from a very young age Smile .

Back to subject:

The number of collapsed building is 156,000. The Earthquake happened at 4:00 in the night. People were caught while they were asleep. Yet the Death-toll is not going beyond 50,000. That makes one decesed ğerson for every three building. I’ve been to that region in 2017. That is truly not the case.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/turkey-faces-...08342.html

Second: The Red Crescent Organization (which was declared to have been turned into a private corporation) has recently sent me an E-mail asking me for donations. I can send a copy to anyone who is writing a thesis or something. Smile   Hehe

Another noteworthy news on the racists / culturally biased aspect of the “Islamist” ideology. India sent rescue teams and set up a field hospital with 100 doctors in the Hatay province. First they made everything as hard for them as they could. Finally, on the 18th of February, they simply asked them to leave “because they needed the area of the field hospital to store COVID equipment and gears”.

https://www.thehindu.com/news/internatio...539969.ece

I cannot really say I know why the political Islamist government took such a decision. The name of the operation was “Operation Dost”. The word “Dost” is a word that is used in our language and in the Indian language and it means “true friend”. But they just told them to leave. Similar things have happened to the Italian and French Field Hospitals (they were not booted but everything was done to make them unable to function properly). Search and rescue teams from India, Spain, Ukraine, Russia etc. had to wait for days in airports and then most of them had to go back to their countries because they were not able to work properly.

So I guess it’s some sort of racism. I think on a psychological level they didn’t want Indian doctors because they see them as “Pagans”. I think it has to be as simple as that. But it’s only a guess Smile
