Look at Kleck's sample (not the sample size, but who he questioned): he drastically over-represented not just men, but the oldest male in each household with a gun.

You can argue that leads to a 30% overestimate, but you can not claim that leads to a 90% overestimate (which would be necessary for guns to kill more people than they save).

THERE IS NO 'ESTIMATE'!!  The whole thing is a farce, as I've explained to you before.

I think this is a good clip to help people see that not all terrorism comes from mental illness, as was discussed earlier.



Jane Fonda says that the solution to anti-abortion laws is murder. When it's a right that is being taken away that you actually care about (unlike guns for most here), then you have a little sympathy for Jane feeling so hopeless and saying something like that. You can even imagine feminists making the argument that if civil war was the only means to protect AFABs rights, then that would be preferable to AFABs not having rights.

Just something to keep in mind for people who have no sympathy for those who care about some of their other constitutionally protected rights like arms and speech. Attacking or killing random people is obviously really dumb, though, and obviously it just leads to stricter gun laws and the surveillance state gaining ever increasing powers, so these people are just shooting their own movements in the foot.

Jane Fonda is not actually a terrorist, but I do sympathize with her being deeply disturbed with AFABs losing rights, as did a massive amount of people, as she was mostly given a pass for her comments by non-conservatives. You think your proxy army across the world should all die to secure your geo-political aims and you proudly call yourself a neo-con, so clearly you get Jane Fonda too and you go way beyond where I do. Of course a lot of terrorists care about certain rights but not about others, just as you do. You're conservative, but I don't know exactly what you want to conserve. Not gun rights. You'll get uppity if I speak out against police abolition or prison abolition or court system abolition. You're fine with universities banning the word "field". You don't want to conserve language or much else, so I don't quite see the conservatism, other than the neo-conservatism where you want to occupy other countries and kill brown people for eternity, and then assume someone like me who doesn't want hunting rifles banned is going to end up being the terrorist who goes out and does violence with nothing to back up your paranoia.
