I know for a fact that the U.S. has the highest number of lives saved through creative defensive gun use. Take that Croatia! I've got a study by Kleck to prove it!

I am unaware of any Kleck-like study for Croatia. But, yeah, I do expect defensive gun use to be much less common in Croatia, precisely because there is much less crime in Croatia to defend yourself from using guns. That's a good thing, not a bad thing.

Less gun crime…or less reported gun crime u til you ask someone “when was the last time you pulled your gun on a rando?”…,,,

Funny thing, alot of the americans who claim to have used a gun defensively say the same. The setup is just perfect. They tell some stranger a story about how they pulled a gun on someone, then they worry that they might have made a mistake in telling that story to a stranger, subsequently denying that they even have a gun.

Immaterial. If you cared about crime, you’d find a way - legal or not - to get a gun. Since you have a history of mental illness, you are - by your own admission - at high risk for being the victim of a violent crime. 

As we all know, you can’t be anti-crime unless you’re heavily armed.
