Wrong! What is the Theory of Abiogenesis? (news-medical.net)

Even if you believe god magicked shit together...unless you think god is a living biological organism....you still believe that life came from non life.

Checkmate cretinist.

Wiki is either wrong *gasp*
or
It was a simplification for simpletons like you. Still its technically wroung
Abiogenesis is about the origin of life
Evolution about its development

The majority of sites that dispute your arguments are from believers, not atheists. This is a simple function of the base rate, because there are more believers than atheists, any specific site is more likely to be that of a believer than an atheist. It is a poor banker who ignores base rates.

"‘Spontaneous generation’ was a mainstream scientific doctrine for a very long time, until proven wrong by Francesco Redi and Louis Pasteur. Even then it died a slow and painful death. Spontaneous generation basically proposed that given the right conditions and precursors, life would arise all by itself ‘spontaneously’. There were various recipes for this well-established ‘fact’ of science. For example, 17th Century Flemish chemist Jan Baptiste van Helmont wrote, ‘If a soiled shirt is placed in the opening of a vessel containing grains of wheat, the reaction of the leaven in the shirt with fumes from the wheat will, after approximately 21 days, transform the wheat into mice.’ It was also thought that meat left to rot would spontaneously give rise to maggots and flies. The self-evident fact that rotting meat would before long swarm with maggots and flies established the belief in spontaneous generation of maggots and flies from rotting meat. Redi proposed an eminently simple experiment to test the hypothesis: let’s cover the meat with some fine material and see what happens! Well of course no maggots or flies swarmed on the meat as it rotted because no flies could get to the meat to lay their eggs and thus produce the maggots and flies that were so well known. And so Redi overthrew long-established scientific doctrine and replaced it with a new doctrine, ‘Life comes from life’—what became known as the ‘law of biogenesis’."
From: https://creation.com/abiogenesis

Complex beings like maggots and flies do not spontaneously emerge from rotten meat, sure. But how is this evidence against abiogenesis as it is understood to mean? And how is this evidence for intelligent design? Abiogenesis isn't proposing that life arose spontaneously, after all.

Life isn't some magical force that requires a magical switch to be flipped for it to be set to "on". It's purely physical. You might be confusing life with soul or something.

One would think that a church which has been in the child molestation business for 2000 years, and which can defend child molesters with a straight face in the 21st-century is supernaturally immune to embarrassment. Yet such is the miracle of Christianity that it made Xeviar into something that would embarrass even the Roman Catholic Church, at least, the church in less undeveloped, less scientifically illiterate, less illiterate overall, parts of the world than his, parts with less primitive basis of world view.

Science hasn't yet solved the mystery of Abiogenesis.

"Therefore God did it."

Wow, this completely pwns us atheists. Devastating! I must now believe in blood magic, and talking donkeys and serpents!

Stupid people make stupid arguments. NX has presented nothing but threads filled with nonsequiturs. And he hawks the Lord like a second-hand Buick. I agree. He's filth.

I have a perverse interest in bad apologists and proselytizers. They don't seem to have the relatively common fear that they might shove their foot into their gods mouth if they opened their own.
