Getting rid of all the immigrants is the next step in making the country worse. Because, let's face it, whitey don't want those jobs.

You want inflation? Let's see tomatoes at $5/lb, lettuce $3/head, and so on.
Will Trump do this in a second term? Perhaps. But there's a Bastille Day moment waiting for him when he tries to establish a dynasty out of this and the fickle American public -- including his own supporters -- find $30 dinners at home with cheap cuts of meat.

Not going all Belaqua here, but the US doesn't have an 'immigrant crisis' - that's a dog whistle. What the US has is a refugee crisis caused in no small part by US foreign policies.
When American foreign policy works, it works amazingly well (HIV/AIDS work in Africa, the Marshall Plan in Europe, and so on). But when it goes pear shaped, it creates conditions that make people want to get out of their own countries and go guess where.

Boru Of course its a dog whislte. People like Pavlov dont even put a lot of effort anymore into their blatant lies, thats whats even wors than the fact they are trying to spread those ies at all.
Whats the difference between immigration and "mass immigration" anyway? 10k? 30k? 100k? 1000k?
We do have the same shit here in Germany. The AfD sorta guys complainung about too much immigration (and secretly planning for the deportation of millions!) yet:
- A recent census showed that there are 1mio less people living in Germany than previously thought
- Immigration (particularly from Ukraine etc.) has dropped to "usual" low levels we had in the past
- AfD scores best with the immigration dogwhistle in the states of eastern Germany, while recent statistics clearly show an overwhelming majority of imigrants living in western Germany

It seems like a good course of action would be for Biden to resign his office right now and for the DNC to give Harris the nomination.
I get that she’s not wildly popular, but she does have experience and name recognition. And, since one of the chief concerns Democratic voters have about Biden is that he’s too old, this could possibly make them care more about the race. It would also pull more apathetic independents and moderate Republicans into the voting booths.
Granted, it would also energize the whack-a-doo wing of the Republican electorate, but that’s probably a wash, given how much Democrats and independents outnumber Republicans.

There are two problems with that. She's black, and she's a woman. Previous presidential race outcomes have been significantly influenced by sexism and racism among swing voters.

It’s not about swing voters (well, not primarily), it’s about getting centrist Democrats out of this depression.
While her sex and ethnicity carry some baggage, it’s worth noting that the US elected a Black man twice, and gave a popular vote win to a woman.

Polls mean nothing. In the week before the 2016 election, polls had Clinton leading by as much as 7 points.
