Harris definitely has her work cut out for her.

Former President Trump is narrowly leading Vice President Harris, the likely Democratic presidential nominee, in several battleground states, and the two are tied in Wisconsin, according to a new set of polls.

The survey released by Emerson College Polling and The Hill on Thursday found Trump leading Harris by 5 points in Arizona, 49 percent to 44 percent; by 2 points in Georgia, 48 percent to 46 percent; by 1 point in Michigan, 46 percent to 45 percent; by 2 points in Pennsylvania, 48 percent to 46 percent; and tied with her at 47 percent in Wisconsin.

In every state except Arizona, the polling falls within the survey’s margin of error, meaning Trump and Harris could actually be tied in most of the battleground state match-ups.

Harris notably outpaces President Biden in polling of each of the battleground states since a similar survey was released earlier this month, outperforming the president by 5 points in Georgia, 4 points in Arizona and Wisconsin, and 3 points in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

In more specific polling, she appears to be leading Trump among certain key demographics (‘key’ meaning ‘voters you can’t win without’), and doing substantially better than Biden was with those groups: blacks, Hispanics, women, and younger voters.

Definitely hopeful, but it’s early days yet.

I suspect that turnout will be the key to this election. Polls are useless for predicting that. Additionally, Harris is just getting started. It's too early to tell if she's a dream or a dud.

Yeah, she seems to be employing the Obama strategy of exciting and energizing voters. It seems to be working initially. Its a matter of staying power. Can she keep this up for 3 months and will the message stay fresh that long.

RFK Jr. Wants to Send People on Antidepressants to Government “Wellness Farms”

presidential candidate and anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. unveiled his plan to overhaul addiction treatment programs. Speaking during a live recording of the Latino Capitalist podcast, Kennedy described opioid, antidepressant, and ADHD “addicts” receiving treatment on tech-free “wellness farms,” where they would spend as much as three or four years growing organic produce.

On the farms, he said, residents would grow their own organic food—which would help them recover from addiction, “because a lot of the behavioral issues are food related. A lot of the illnesses are food related.” The idea that addiction is connected to consuming non-organic food is not backed by robust science—but it’s in line with many other unfounded claims that Kennedy has made in the past about pesticides and non-organic food causing chronic disease, behavioral problems, and autism.
