Hello old friend long time no see, I didn't know you were here. I'm going to be around for a bit  while I decide whether I'm going to go back to AD  (there was an incident a few weeks ago and I got dogpiled for having the wrong opinion and it's left a very sour taste in my mouth) I look forward to seeing you around.

Heya Adey, hope all's well with you. I won't go back there so long as Dom's the Admin, as she was quit the cunt to me at my last visit.

Ah you haven't heard,  Dom has been missing since late  October and it's looking horribly likely she's no longer with us, she's told no one she's taking any leave of absence and it's completely out of character that she would just take off without a word, we've searched all Oregons obituaries and news but because no one knows her real name finding anything significant is almost impossible but AD was sort of her baby so I think it's highly likely something bad has happened.

Seriously, though, I had enough of her when she started threatening bans for things that were not against any of her rules, but were just pissing her off. Moderation by whim is not a good way to run things.

Though Dom and I were not fans of one another, I did reach out to moms to see if she had any contact info beyond what was available at AD and she did not.

I noticed that Dom posted a lot one day, then the next two days were only one post and then nothing at all.  

Certainly didn't wish her ill but I can't imagine her just up and leaving AD if she had any choice to do otherwise.

Major Texas Newspaper Endorses Joe Biden

The Houston Chronicle's editorial board said they would be backing Biden in the Democratic primary and for re-election so he can "make life better" for the American people as well as prevent the "chaos, corruption and danger to the nation" that would accompany his presumed 2024 Republican challenger Donald Trump returning to the White House.

In their editorial, the paper's board admit that Biden "has his shortcomings," but what his administration has achieved during his time in office is a "potent reminder to his fellow Democrats, to independents and to those Republicans who have somehow resisted Trump's cultish appeal that the nation has a viable alternative."

GEORGETOWN, South Carolina, Feb 24 (Reuters) - As Donald Trump comes close to clinching a third presidential nomination, anti-Trump Republicans are facing a sobering reality: Their party is unlikely to revert to what it was before the MAGA wave rolled in, and they now have no obvious political home.

For Ken Baeszler, who consistently voted Republican until Trump and his Make America Great Again movement transformed the party, that political scenario is disconcerting.

"The Republican Party part of me that's left is hoping Ronald Reagan jumps out from the grave and saves us all," said Baeszler, a 65-year-old retiree, as he attended a rally for Trump challenger Nikki Haley on a recent sunny afternoon in Georgetown, South Carolina.

"It leaves me in a quandary," he added of Trump's likely victory over Haley for the Republican nomination, including an expected win in Saturday's South Carolina primary. Baeszler said he may ultimately vote for No Labels, referring to the third party seeking to field another option in the November presidential election.

Baeszler's sense of being unmoored was echoed widely in interviews with 15 other Republican or Republican-leaning Haley supporters in South Carolina this week.

Six of those Haley supporters said they also would likely vote for a third-party option if the choice is between Trump and Democrat Joe Biden in November. Four said they would back Trump given his conservative values. Four others said they would support Biden because they saw Trump as unfit for office. One said she wasn't sure.

The voter snapshot highlights how Trump has alienated part of the Republican Party in a way that could hurt him in his likely rematch against Biden. Haley supporters cited a litany of reasons for not wanting to vote for Trump, including his repeated lies about having won the 2020 election against Biden and the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

A Suffolk University/USA TODAY poll released this week found that majorities of Haley supporters polled - both Republicans and independents - had unfavorable opinions of Trump, suggesting a portion would vote for Biden, a third party or stay at home, according to David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center.

Trump To Lose A Revenue Stream

Chris LaCivita, a senior adviser to Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, said on Friday he won't pay the former president's legal expenses with funds from the Republican National Committee (RNC).

On Friday, LaCivita, who is set to take on RNC operating officer duties, said he will not use funds from the RNC to cover Trump-related legal expenses when asked about it by NBC News.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, NBC News White House reporter Katherine Doyle noted LaCivita's response, "'No,' LaCivita says in South Carolina where Trump is taking the stage. Asked to clarify, he responds: "F****** no.'"

Beyond this, I know nothing about Mr. LaCivita, but I sincerely admire his balls.
