I am loving that Vance has pushed MTG off my news feed. I will give him one point for that alone.

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Who in the hell is the chump campaign expecting to switch their vote(s)? More to the point, who in the Trump campaign staff is so desperate as to dig this deep to fetch up votes? Someone is giving him some very shitty advice. Swifties won't believe this at all, but Trump thinks this might be useful. This speaks to the desperation in his camp. I bet she herself is happy she's not taking incoming. She's probably just as unhappy she's regarded as small-fry unworthy of a broadside. I don't know how these assholes think, so it could be either/or ... or maybe both. (August 18, 2024 at 7:46 pm)Thumpalumpacus Wrote:Yup, no need to lie/ignore what he did for his county. He regularly put his life on the line in combat (and ironically in an insurrection). Yet he was a shameless looter and glutton, vain and cruel, only out for his own interest and advancement. Another ace pilot (Udet) killed himself because of Görings vices. Having served your country in war does make you immune to criticism, and it does not make you equal I others who were better persons

It just means that you were willing to put your ass n the line, at one time. The rest of your life is still the rest of your life. I just question how someone could swear an oath to the Constitution and then later support one who would tear it down -- precisely because his being a veteran and swearing that oath makes it more mysterious. On the contrary, his people are probably giving him some very good advice (stop the personal attacks, stay focused on policies, etc), but the Stable Genius isn't taking it. Boru

This can make you a great stuntman, fireman.....or soldier. Outside the army the downsides of this mental state are exposed 3) While he joined the army, he never saw active combat. He wasnt looking for it (afaik). One could argue, the military was "just a job" for him, and the oath didnt mean much more to him than obliging to a "contract" ....as long as its valid. He maybe didnt take this oath as serious as you did. 4) Not everyone is 100% good or evil. Many of us (me included) suffer from cognitive dissonance. He could love his indian wife and be a racist pig.

The Harris campaign has reserved a significant number of ad buys on Fox. That’s fucking brilliant.
