RE: Why Catholics Are Right

Well everyone, I happened to love this book. And yes, I'm very much a faithful Catholic Christian that endeavors to adhere perfectly to God's precepts.
With this atheistic ideology that you endorse, don't you people know that this world would be one sorry place without God's Church? We have the perfect example of what the world would look like if we let your atheistic ideology dominate the planet. Ask anyone that lived in Russia during 20th century and you'll find out what a "beautiful" world you get when you choose a godless ideology.
But...have you heard, God had plans for His poor Russia, even before communism fell in 1991, God was proclaiming His plan to restore Russia to health...spiritual health.
This message was given to us by, brace yourself my dear skeptics, Jesus Himself.
It was given to us in November 1989, before the fall of communism in Russia.

And....by the way, as this message predicted, the Catholic Church is beginning to flourish in Russia today. When they celebrate Christmas, it's about God's gift to humanity, not the commercialized Santa holiday that so dominates the West. Many of their Churches are filled with people worshiping God!
Here's another prophecy from our Lord, exactly 10 years to the day, before the horror of the 9/11 twin towers.
http://www.tlig.org/en/messages/654/
Trust me everyone, I know full well that for you to believe in these spiritual gifts from our Lord would be nothing short of a miracle. But, every now and then I like to post a little something for my atheistic friends in the world.
May God's favor be with you now and most importantly, at the hour of death.
True Life In God, forever!

I was hopping it would take more than one post before I see a venom response.
Atheism is most certainly an ideology, look it up in the dictionary.
There's no proof for your worldview. I've looked, atheism is bankrupt, a complete and total fabrication.
The Catholic worldview abounds in verifiable facts.
1) Fatima (70,000 people witnessed the miracle of the sun.)
2) Garabandal (Thousands witnessed unnatural behaviors during apparitions from 1961 to 1965)
3) TLIG (Prophesies from God)
4) Risen Christ!
5) People getting martyred in the first century! Historical facts supported by secular sources of first century Christians getting martyred. If it was a grand hoax, these people would have all been letting themselves get killed for a known lie!!! Why!? Because they walked during the years of Jesus' ministry. Or their parents spoke of what they SAW with their own eyes! Nobody and I mean nobody dies for a lie. Oh! People will die for what they believe to be true...like Muslims and Christians of our day but those 1st Christians were unique. They're just one of countless proofs about the truth of Christianity.
Gamble well my friend because you only get one chance to choose holiness...to choose God.
Be blessed...

Atheism is not a worldview.
Honestly I don't know what else you were expecting. We welcome everyone but be warned you deserve to be ridiculed when you barge on here, without introducing yourself properly, and then proceed to submit a load of preachy bullshit onto the message board.

Quote:1) Fatima (70,000 people witnessed the miracle of the sun.)
And, despite the fact that the sun should, in theory, have been visible to about a billion other people at that point in time, nobody outside of Portugal managed to witness the miracle of the Sun.
Quote:2) Garabandal (Thousands witnessed unnatural behaviors during apparitions from 1961 to 1965)
Even the Church hasn't endorsed the apparitions at Garabandal. Why do you expect Atheists to believe it?
Quote:4) Risen Christ!
An event which has no more contemporary documentation than Abraham Lincoln's moonlighting as a Vampire Hunter.
Quote:5) People getting martyred in the first century! Historical facts supported by secular sources of first century Christians getting martyred. Any sufficiently popular ideology can inspire martyrs, especially in its early years. Even the Nazis had their own martyrs. Oh, and speaking of dying for a lie: Look here. If a man dying because he believes that he can eat the liver of a poisonous fish isn't more foolish than dying for the sake of a teacher one admires, than I don't know what is.
P.S., since you seem to have read the book, does the author actually go about proving how wafers and wine can literally turn into blood and flesh without one's tongue noticing, or does he just gripe about how he believes that Catholicisim is the only lifestyle that it's okay to be prejudiced against?
And just in case, here's some other things that are also considered acceptable to hate in society:
[*]Fat Women
[*]The Mentally Ill
[*]Nudists
[*]Hippies
[*]The Mormons
[*]Animal Rights Movements
[*]Lawyers
[*]Scientologists
[*]Transvestites
[*]Rednecks
[*]Midgets
[*]Emos
[*]Homeless
[*]Montanans
[*]Any Totalitarian Regimes
[*]Mimes
[*]The Roma
[*]Justin Bieber
[*]Jerseyites
[*]Arabs
[*]Canadians
[*]Hispanics, even now
[*]The French
[*]Germans (Before, During, and After The Third Reich)
[*]Turks

Hi Welsh cake,
To be clear, I was hoping for civil human dialog, the kind that doesn't involve childish expressions like "silly fucking god" and "Fuck any altar boys lately?".
But, to be abundantly clear...as for your warning, don't bother, venom doesn't bother me at all. And, as I said, I was expecting it.
Curse, insult, call me a "big fat stupid head" if it makes you happy, I don't concern myself with the opinions of mere creatures.
I'd rather concern myself with the opinion our Creator.
By the way, you can say it as often as you like, atheism is most certainly the way you've decided to view the world.
It's your worldview, it's your ideology.
Best,

It's your worldview, it's your ideology. Atheism is not a way to view the world, it is the result of viewing the world objectively.

If Atheism is a religion then not playing baseball is a sport.
Just because you're raised with an ideology, doesn't mean everyone else must have an ideology.
Quote:"I think it's perfectly possible to explain how the universe came about without bringing God into it, but I don't know everything, and there may well be a God somewhere, hiding away. Actually, if he is keeping out of sight, it's because he's ashamed of his followers and all the cruelty and ignorance they're responsible for promoting in his name. If I were him, I'd want nothing to do with them."
