Israel is used by capitalists to get revenue, the moment the revenue ends the support also ends; Great Britain knew that it's a costly burden after WW2, so the U,S pushed in to take Britain's place; thinking that it inherited the throne of Great Britain and took its past empire; afterall the two superpowers were always fighting over dominance. Right now it became clear that the times changed; and the age of Israel is just..gone.

So, Israel is simultaneously a costly burden AND something that the West only supports because they can use it to make money?

This maneuver seems to be selected to not really to kill a few hundred Israelis but to ensure a period of brutal blood letting for the Palestinians during the inevitable Israeli reaction.    This is no doubt so as to inflame Arab opinion.      The timing of this maneuver seems to be selected to stop in its tracks the Saudi-Israel rapprochement that has been in the works for some time and seems to be within months of being consummated.

Saudi Arabia has been playing a rather cunning game in playing China off against the U.S. to extract a comprehensive security guarantee from the U.S.  No doubt the Saudi-Israeli rapprochement is another major chess piece in the same game.    While new comprehensive security arrangement between the U.S. and Saudis will be a serious blow to China’s middle eastern oil and Central Asia Belt and Road strategy, it would be a much bigger, potentially fatal, blow to security interests of Iran in its home turf.     

So I find it improbable Iran did not collude in this maneuver.

I find it unlikely China could be involved because China is at the same time playing its own game to woo Netanyahu, increasingly isolated from the Biden administration, away from the U.S. and Israel being attacked on a large scale, and the U.S. showing is it much better able to provide the Israelis with material support than China, is an thing that would just not do for Beijing.

However, it also seems unlikely to me that Hamas acted purely as Iranian pawn.

Saudi-Israeli rapprochement is closing off another avenue or meaningful international support for the Palestinian cause.  If Palestinians give up on statehood as improbable, Hamas would lose its main competing advantage with respect to the Palestinian Authority that had been part of the now defunct Oslo accord and seem unable to do anything after the Israelis reneged and spat all over the deal.     So survival or Hamas as a player in the Palestinian world also depends on brakes being put on Saudi-Israeli rapprochement.

2) I’ve heard that Hamas was a 1980’s project belonging to the CIA and Mossad to eradicate the Palestinian Liberation Front that was close to the USSR. And like Bin Laden it got out of hand.

I’ve watched very interesting videos on youtube recently. So I don’t know If I can summarize all of it but I’m a believer in peace between those two nations. And I don’t see Hamas as anything more than a bunch of murderers. The Current Israeli government is the most fascist government Israel has ever seen. So these guy will want Hamas to be brutal murderers so they can go and murder more Arabs so white supremacist MAGA Americans can make even more money selling them weapons as they do to the Gangs of Haiti.
 
We as people with brains we need to break this vicious cycle. I am completely pro-Palestinian in this. Israel must return to its 1967 frontiers and leave those Arabs alone. But I am Anti all form of political İslam including Hamas. If I am with Palestinians I am also with anti-Netanyahu / Pro Peace forces in Israel.
 
That’s because of this: Yes, Israel was an artificial state when it was first created by the Europeans who wanted to do something to alleviate the horrors of the holocaust. Today it’s a real state, it’s a democratic state and all that they want to do is to live. Every person on this planet has the right to live without any fear that their friends and relatives might be taken from them by some blood thirsty fanatics.
 
Iran + Russia are still the pure SOG’s they were before this conflict.
 
Oil-producing states like Qatar still have this aura of impunity around them and I wonder for how long the global capitalist economy is going to keep doing that. I’ll explain that later if you want but they’re the ones who are messing my own country as well.
 
Finally, the US / European attitude toward Israel is not that easy to read. So I’m not going to speculate on things I don’t really understand. Still: I am a nostalgic of the efforts of Bill Clington in the 90’s. And this is not a pipe dream. The opposite is a pipe dream. Because violence, than violence, than more violence, then even more violence you just cannot solve anything like that. So all actors need to be following the example of the East Roman Emperor on that.
 
Also: It’s important for people with fate to distance themselves from man slaughtering terrorists.
 
Yes, Arabs in that area have been wronged since 75 years or so. But no, I won’t associate myself with terrorists. You cannot solve this or any other issue by becoming monsters. And Yes, I will defend the rights of Arabs + Jews of somehow getting to a point where they can just live there without murdering one another. And it is left wing Arabs (NGO’s etc.) + more center / center left Israeli governments who can do that. As I said all that fascists / fundamentalist Israelis wanted was something like this to happen. So they can justify their war in which they will kill even more Arabs. And all that Hamas wants actually, is more Israeli military incursions with even more deaths so their relatives will be willing to join them as murderer-terrorists.
 
Also: The PLA was some sort of resistance movement (despite many inhumane actions). So if you had strong conviction you would be able to support them. Hamas etc. are nothing like that. These are movements of brutal vengeance and brutal vengeance only.
 
And the meaning of my signature bellow is that in the late 70’s, when Jamaica was so polarized between socialist and pro-American forces that turned into very violent Haiti-like events. It was a reggae singer called Bob Marley who stood up calling for unity and the halting of all violence.
 
So I think this is what has to happen in many places of the world today. No side in this should become the “other side” or “the enemy”. This approach is a lie and it only serves to legitimize several extremist political approaches around the world. And these guys are all Hitler-like megalomaniacs who are ready to send millions to death just to realize some of their ego-based insane fantasies.
 
So as I said, a new camp-David will be needed as soon as the Israeli campaign is over.
