Yeah, I never understood that. Why wouldn't Jesus always intervene, and immediately, when bad things happen to people? Why would he choose to reveal himself only to specific people at specific times?

I've got an even simpler reason. I'm not willing to strap pregnant women to gurneys or to have my taxpayer money imprison them until they deliver and chase after their fucking doctors in the meantime.
